Good day all, other than mis-matched eyes, lens soup and the usual tiredness it appears everyone is doing at least OK today.
Other than limping rather badly due to this stupid knee I'm doing quite well.
Nice games on sale today, I haven't play Lifeless Planet but the other 4 are quite fun if you like the genres.

FearfulSymmetry: Well, there are bits and pieces of platforming, but at its heart, what the game requires you to do is plant the right plants in the right spots. Essentially it's more of a plant and animal growing thing. :P I normally hate management games like these, but for some reason I found this one really enjoyable. I also liked the art style and the setting.
That's sounds uncommon. It certainly looked more like a platformer on the screenshots.

ElTerprise: It looks like a game i would like but the price was setting me apart. (same story with Gone Home in the other promo).
I think i can wait for bigger discount.
I found the game to be a lot more interesting than Mind: Path to Thalamus, but I do think it is a little overpriced, and it never seems to have a good sales discount, despite it appearing on bundles sites for next to nothing. It's probably a good idea to wait, as you might be disappointed and find it not worth the high price.

Haha, quite right. Hello Endre! Good to hear you're doing reasonably well. I'm sorry if you mentioned it before and I missed it, but did something happen to your knee or is it a long-term problem?

ElTerprise: That's sound uncommon. It certainly looked more like a platformer on the screenshots.
Platforming is definitely a part of it, as you need to fly around with your jetpack to reach the right spots to plant things. It's reasonably easy to manage though, and later on you unlock some upgrades for your jetpack as well.

Just an old worn out knee that acts up every so often, might take a bit of cortisone this time.

That's good. I really like Platformers (duh ^^) but i'm not really good at it. Fun thing is that the somewhat reminds me of what i saw from The Swapper, another game i want to get at some point....*vanished to look if the Swapper is on GOG* :).

I'm not a platformer hero either, but this game didn't give me much trouble. And if you die you just respawn nearby, so there's no huge punishment.
