ddickinson: Well I like a challenge, and I will do my best to keep a smile on your face all week. Even if I have to do lots of silly dances to keep you smiling. :-)

There is nothing special I need to do at the ball, but I do get a little nervous that I will slip up and do something wrong. People there are rich, posh, and often stuck up, and there are lots of formalities. It's not that this humble farm girl can't mix in those circles, I have done before and usually they are not trouble, but I always get a bit worried that I might do something that embarrasses my partner in front of her friends. I know she would not mind even if I did (she told me so herself), but I am always a little nervous at these events as I am the odd one out. But at least I have my dress all ready, and my partner gave me a nice rose hair clip to wear when we go. It goes great with my black dress and my black hair. I am going to have nice red lipstick, so that and the rose will look really nice against the black. As far ad the dancing goes, we should do fine, we have been having lots of fun practising, and I am sure we will do perfectly.
