Good night, Crow!

On another note, I can definitely recommend Waking Mars from the current promo, I had a great time with it when I bought it a while ago. I'm not normally into 'plant management' games at all, but this one was different somehow. Everything looked really nice and I enjoyed the sci-fi setting.

AgentBirdnest: It's terrible... This world already has one too many of her.

Nothing for me in this promo... The ones I don't own do not interest me at all.
One of the benefits of not really following modern tv/movies/music, I avoid all those annoying people America loves to push on people. It's not just American people either, you even find horrible foreign "talent" and force it on the world, people like Justin Bieber and Susan Boyle. You Americans sure do love making this world worse. :-)

I own two games from the promo, one on GOG (Total Annihilation) and another from a DRM-Free bundle (Lifeless Planet). Lifeless Planet is a good game (at least I thought so), but it is a little overpriced, even while on sale I am not sure it is worth the price (maybe at 80% off), that's why I got it as part of a bundle some time ago and not on GOG. It's a interesting game, and if it was a little cheaper I am sure it would do well, but sadly I think it has overpriced itself for the kind of game it is.

Speaking of bundles, I always find it funny that some games won't have a good sale discount (say, 80%), yet they will be part of a bundle that could get them a few cent (when you divide the payment among all the other games and the bundle site). If it was me, I would just have better sale discounts, that way I end up getting a lot more than I would with a bundle sale (as they are only splitting the money with GOG, not a bundle site and several other games).

Hello, little blob! *morning hug*

I think the GOG Bear could use some hugs, he keeps coming to visit and he looks awful lonely. :-)

Any games from the current staff promo catch your eye?

We are getting too lazy to make our own crap, so we have to start importing it. There is plenty of crap to go around, but we are the only ones shameless enough to steal it, then sell it back to everyone :-)

I've always thought it is very strange how bundles work... I would think that developers would make more money by selling their games individually with a discount, but I don't know... I fail miserably at economics... I can see how it would be good for unheard-of games that might not sell at all to be bundled with more popular titles, but I don't understand why the more popular ones are there in the first place... I'll never understand. I'm just a simple-minded 'Murican ;-p

He had been coming to visit a lot these last few days, maybe he was tired of being by himself and decided to visit people for some company. :-)

Come now, you are not just some simple-minded American. You are our Agent, and we think you are awesome.

*big epic rib cracking hug for the awesome and smart Agent*

That is what I meant about the games on bundles. You think, Lifeless Planet, for example: If goes on a Humble Bundle as the PWYW tier. So I go and pay just $1 (I could pay less, as $1 minimum is for Steam keys, not the DRM-Free version, so technically I could pay just 1 cent). So lets say I pay $1 and there are 4 games that are part of the PWYW tier. Now, if for the moment we don''t take into account Humble's cut, that would mean there were 5 games sharing $1, making it 20 cent each. And for that 20 cent I get a DRM-Free version of Lifeless Planet, and a Steam version. Two copies of the game for just 20 cent.

But on GOG I do not think I have ever seen it below $8 (approx). Imagine if they put it on sale for $4, or $2, even if GOG took 50% of the money (which I doubt would be their cut), they would still get at least $1/$2 per game, and that is just for one DRM-Free version, not a Steam version as well. Surly that makes more sense than taking part in Bundles and refusing to put your game on sale for a reasonable amount, especially when your game has mixed reviews which when combined with the price will put potential buys off.

.... Yeah! I agree with the smart British lady! :-D

I've given up on bundles. I am finally reaching the point where I might be close to thinking that I have almost enough games...

Oh, and have an *extra-big happy hug*

Well it's a good job you said "might be close to thinking that I have almost enough games", otherwise the surprise would have been ruined. ;-)
