EndreWhiteMane: Evening everyone.
I think I'll just stick with 'doing OK here'.
Don't want to give anyone a stroke. ;)

And, it's finally raining. A lot! :-)
Good evening. =)

Will keep fingers crossed that what's happening will improve, and do so quickly.
Yay! I can reply to posts again!

EndreWhiteMane: I didn't want to overwhelm you so I'll just stick with OK.
Yes, the lawn is mowed, and growing again already. :/
I am sure I can handle you being more than okay. :-)

Glad to hear you got your lawn mowed. Are you getting a lot of rain at the moment?

ElTerprise: Good to hear you're doing great. I also had problems with the site the enitre day. It's been terribly slow and Barefoot Essentials slowed it down even more...

No Problem. I just stumbled over it. It's entirely possible that there are local dialects where this might be correct ;P
Yeah, the site sure does love to act up this time of day. I wonder if it's all the Americans logging on?

I think the error was my doing. I just put IN out of habit, as that is the English word for IM.

toxicTom: That's some nice photoshopping :-)
I had to do something to preserve this momentous day. :-)

But do not let that fool you, look at the post I was replying to, you can clearly see she said GOOD. I just highlighted it.

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

Doing all right here, quiet day and some Netflix to pass the time.
Hopefully you've been having a relaxed, restful weekend to balance out all the work.
Good evening, Crow!

Glad to see you are doing okay. Have you been watching anything nice on Netflix?

My weekend was lovely, as usual. Quite relaxing, and enjoyable, and just what I needed after the long hours this week.

Grargar: Yes. GOG even offers the video as an extra to the game.
That's great. I think i should get it then here after all...

ddickinson: I see the forum is acting up again tonight. Having a lot of problems even replying to posts. :-(

Hello, little blob! *big hug*

My weekend was very good, thank you.

How was your weekend, did you find anything fun to do?

Hello!

The magnifying glass is an image I put on top of the screenshot. I was a bit bored so did a bit of image editing to highlight her epic post.

How are you today, did you have a good weekend?
Playing FEAR,FFVII,40K and Marathon.

Already checked it on your calendar app? So we can celebrate anniversaries?

That's some heavy stuff. How do you like Marathon? And what 40K game are you playing?

Hiya Crow, I'm doing just fine, I didn't want DD to have to handle too many 'goods' in one day. :-)
Sounds like life is going easy on you at the moment too, that's a good thing for a Sunday.
Broke down and bought Anodyne, looked at a few times before, and well, you know, it's a sale. :-)

So you were getting GOGbears in the reply window too?

Possible that it's related to all the americans logging in...but i've nver had such issues before...

----------------
BTW: Having a weird taste atm after switching from Veltins to Pilsner Urquell....

But that's definitely a change for the better. Although my wife hates me drinking the latter since I reek of beer more...

I am not sure what Marathon is, but the other three are lots of fun. :-)

How did you like FEAR?

I am hoping we will see GOOD more often, so we won't have to make a note of this day. :-)

No GOG bears, but pages are taking a long time to fully load, and it sometimes won't let me do things until the page has loaded. For example, I can't click the reply button until the page has fully loaded.

It is probably not the American users, that was only a little joke, but it does seem to be worse for me usually this time of day, and with most of Europe asleep, I figured it might be Americans and the evening traffic. But who knows.

Marathon is the game series that Bungie made before Halo and it's freeware.

Marathon is awesome and I'm playing Dark Crusade and Winter Assault.

Yeah - Pilsner Urquell is one of my favourites :). But i don't mind drinking different brands of (german) beer. Except Jever. That's too harsh for me (they don't lie in their ads ^^).

Now that I searched for it I think you have mentioned the game previously. Are you enjoying the game? What did you think of FEAR?

Marathon is a very classic, but rather unknown shooter from the 2.5D era. It used environments like Doom (textured levels, sprite enemies) but was quite ahead of it's time by incorporating a meaningful story told in-game. It came out in 1994, just one year after Doom. It's an early work of Bungie, of Halo-fame. The reason it's rather unknown is that it was for years only available for Mac, and when a PC arrived - time had moved on. It's still a great game, a real classic, and it's also freely available. So if you like the classic shooters, it's definitely worth to give it a try.

Marathon is awesome and FEAR is a game that,IMO,does the horror aspect right and creates a perfect atmosphere.
