BillyMaysFan59: Well my party in IWD got stuck again... this time in the Vale of Shadows. It's bad enough dealing with all those skeletons, but that worm thing..... ugh

Anyways, off to bed now.
Night Billy, sleep well.

CarrionCrow: I've thought about switching to Chrome, but I'm used to Firefox and it does what I want well enough.

Oh great...you got your phone back. You must be thrilled, given how much you love it.

The sale isn't bad for new people. For compulsives, a lot of the ground has already been covered. -laughs-

Boring is underrated. People who endlessly complain about boredom are people who've never been in a lot of deranged situations.
Makes boring very, very appealing by comparison.

EndreWhiteMane: How true, boredom is easy to alleviate, it's just that I usually don't want to. :-)
How's Pillars coming, still enjoying it?
Haven't really played it today, but I'm a few quests in, have a party together that won't die in half a second, killed that asshole bear which was nice. I'm enjoying it. =)

Bit more of a learning curve since it's a new world, new lore and new mechanics, but it's close enough to Infinity Engine games in the gameplay department that I can still get through.
Good morning, everyone! Hope you're having a fine day/night alltogeter!

I'm just checking the current promos to decide which games I should catch for a GA in about ten days. I'm looking for 2-3 really nice ones that don't blast my budget. Any recommendations?
Good Morning! Damn all this non-gaming business that jumps at me around every corner! :)
Didn't play anything yesterday except a bit of Spelunky tutorial. Too tired.
And today more stuff that I'm doing... Taking a train at about 9 am, get around to gaming not earlier than 5 pm.
Anyone hiring people for just playing games all day, I'm available!

Hope you guys are doing better!

(had to change the avatar, the beast was bringing me down.

Really Nice Ones, you say?
Oh Those! We'll have none of that nasty business here! :p
Anyhow, The Veterans here should have better suggestions, but I'll throw you some ideas:
-Divinity series (a long, strange trip)
-History Lessons Bundle - or at least Europa Universalis II, if you want to save money..
-The one with Spelunky :p (I got that and love the positive energy of it, and how well it's polished)

Difficult to recommend without knowing your game interest. I'd suggest going to the 'games' tab on the site and either choosing a genre or just clicking on it to sort. If you want cheap you can choose "under 10", "free" or "discounted" from the "Price" column.

Have fun!

Thanks. I was considering picking 2 or 3 single games from the bundles and the weekend promo. But maybe I just do it this way and take a full bundle... The Divinity bundle still attracts me for myself, but as I won't have the time to play any of this (just bought the D&D bundle ;)) I will skip it, I think.

As I want to gift them my interest doesn't matter ;)
Which ones would you like to see in a giveaway?

Edit: Just noticed it's you so I should add 'if you didn't own them already' ;)

OH you are one those people who actually play the games... :D
Thought you were one of us nutty collectors :)
No, seriously, it's good to take your time...

Now now, these days I can't finish all the games I play... I only have so much time... and my attention gets diverted often. There's just too much good stuff out there.
avatar
CarrionCrow: Breakfast is cooking, EIT sent me Gothic so now I can play the series instead of waiting to get the first because I'm a cheapskate, and now I'm thinking I need a lot of coffee...
Okay before I take doggie out and go to bed I have to ask - is my forum time off or were you eating breakfast at interesting hours?

Also, what was on for said odd-houred breakfast? I'm actually curious now!

Well, I always intend to play them but as I usually end up spending my free time with my wife instead of playing new games, my backlog says I'm a nutty collector ;)

Sure, some wife-time is always a safe bet! ;)
My wife has asked me to marry a game once or twice, so it's probably good to look at one's situation and go from there with the games :)

My situation is quite good in that respect - my wife likes gaming, so my choice is just limited to some coops when we decide to spent time together. I just don't find the time to finish all those epic solo rpgs :D

me too :) actually I think that's a very common thing with many people... not just married ones.
But it's also qutie rewarding when you do finish one. Like, "Finally! Got you bastards! What's up with that!"
Good morning everyone *hugs and waves*

I hope everyone is doing good :)

BTW: I got a Steam key for Mount & Blade with Fire and Sword from PalioDeMonte so giving +1 would be appreciated :)
