ddickinson: Have a good evening with your family!

*goodbye hug*

Come now, you would be worried if I started to change the way I behave, think of how disappointed the rest of the forum would be as well, they love our little back and forth. :-)

But you know how much I like you. *big hug* then a *respectable wave, as you don't do hugs* :-)

Thank you for the information. I was unsure at first and had it on my list as a reminded to check later. I will have to take a closer look at the game now that I know it can be played with a controller, which I prefer for those type of games.
Since you live in the UK,could you answer me this? What defines a cockney? They're from southern London is I'm not mistaken.

Not quite, but you were close.

Technically it originally meant all Londoners, but eventually it changed and now generally refers to those from London's East End, or other "working-class" areas of London.

Cockney accent is one of the things that I can never understand very well as well Irish and Welsh. But I had a friend who was cockney andpeople liked making fun of her accent but I liked the way she talked.

ddickinson: It is one of Moons favourite games, and she speaks very highly of the game. I am not sure about the Gothic 2 & 3, but some people say they are really good as well.

I do not know about Anodyne, but check your PM and you can find out. :-)

Part of me wants to say yes to the Oubliette, filled with lots of spiders. But I would feel too bad to put our lovely Agent in there, so maybe just a good telling off. :-)

*Lots of big hugs*
Good grief... a moment's inattention, and you're being ninja-gifted... :'-)))

**Gigantic lifting-you-from-the-ground rib-crushing hug**...

They can have a strong accent, just as people from Liverpool, Newcastle, Scotland, and other regions have. I do not think Cockney is as widely spoken as much these days, but I can imagine it would be hard for a non-English speaking person to understand, especially if they spoke in Cockney rhyming slang a lot, but that is done more in the movies than real life.

Have you heard an Irishman or Welsh talk? I could barely understand it and yes I met some of her friends that were Irish and Welsh and they're good people.
Hey everyone!

Some nice additions to the tower, shame D:OS is still a bit pricey for my budget, but it's slowly getting there. Maybe the winter sales this year it might be cheap enough to snatch up.

Just trying to decide if any of the last bundles tickle my fancy enough to buy.

How is everyone here?

Yes I have, they can be quite difficult to understand if you are not used to them, I am okay with the different speaking styles. But I can understand a non-native English speaker struggling.

I'm going to Disneyland! It's been booked for months, but now that we leave in just over a week I'm getting excited! Things weren't looking too good for us when the adoption happened in January. The adoption isn't finalized yet (takes months), so at this point we are joint guardians with the birth mother. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, and a bunch of red tape to get my hands on a passport for him, but it finally came in the mail yesterday, so we are good to go.

My 5 year old doesn't know. He just knows we are flying to see his grandparents, which we've done before. We haven't decided when we are going to tell him.

As much as I think that the Irish accent is beautiful,I find it hard to comprehend.
