l0rdtr3k: Isn't the English longbow very difficult to use? But AFAIK,is pretty powerful and could pierce armour easily.
It is indeed very easy to use, not just due to the draw strength, but the accuracy as well. And it could also pierce armour, due to the strength of the bow, and the Bodkin arrows the English used (which often had barbs on them to make it difficult to pull the arrow back out). That is why it was still in use in England well into the 16th and even the 17th century, due to it's ability to pierce armour and its range and strength.

l0rdtr3k: Waiting for the happy hour.
Do you mean the weekend sale, or when the bundles update?

ddickinson: Many of the scares do fit well with the story, and they do seem in place with the atmosphere of the game. But there are several parts that will make you jump and get your heart beating, so you will need to consider that before trying the game.
It's a game after all - i think..I'll survive it..hopefully ;)
I just have to remember the litany of the Bene Gesserit ^^:

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

But seriously: Trying it - while keeping in mind what you said - might be a good way to deal with my jumpiness :).
It's same with my fear of heights. I'll try to fight it by going into high building etc.

I am not sure if there will be a weekend sale since the bundle sale is going until Sunday.
Damn it, coffee...you're supposed to be keeping me awake!

Screw it, loud music should work instead. Until I go deaf from it, the pain from the high volume will do the trick. -laughs-

ddickinson: Let's hope that it will start to get better as the day goes on. But these things can also get a little worse, as your muscles tighten up. But after a while I am sure your body will get used to all the Yoga and you can start having lots of fun with it.

*Lots of fell better soon hugs*
I'm sure that'll happen soon enough. :) Thank you! *big hug*

At least if you tried it you would know if that type of game was for you, or if you really were not a fan of jump scares. It has a very nice atmosphere, and some very tense moments when you are hiding from the inmates (and some of the staff).

Well enjoy your drink at the pub, try not to get too drunk. :-)

I did not think there would be one either, but you never know with GOG. I don't mind either way, but I can imagine some people getting annoyed if there is no weekend sale.

Or, if you are that tired, you could go to sleep?

Are you enjoying Yoga so far?

I could, but I prefer getting back to my abnormal normalcy.
Too many days without being strung out on caffeine, climbing the walls and shifting wildly makes me feel unpleasantly stable. =)

That's fair enough. I would not want you to become normal and actually sleep. :-)

ddickinson: Are you enjoying Yoga so far?
Yep, I'm quite enjoying it. Unfortunately my current schedule only allows me to go once a week, because I'd like to go more often. But I've bought my own yoga mat and I'm planning on doing some of the basic exercises at home.

Have fun at the pub then :)

Yeah i really like Dune but i struggle with the fourth novel. Might give it a second chance sometimes...
Too bad that there hasn't been a good movie based on the universe. Well both the mini-sereis were decent but the Lynch movie was crap imho...

LaPtiteBete: Hmmmmm.... Yes, I would :-| . I prefer honest people.

Of course you are !! *pulls sad Shrek cat eyes* :D

-laughing hard- No worries there. I could sleep at night for the rest of my life, but the normalcy ship sailed, caught fire and sank long, long ago. ;)
