Good morning, Owl. Good to see you, as owlways. **Big hug**
Good morning, Agent!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling very good today. Is there anything I can do to help cheer your day up?

*Big comforting hugs for the awesome Agent*

ElTerprise: I'm good but having muscle hangover from sports yesterday. Yes. Thank you. Bookmarked it.
That's a shame about the muscle hangover, I hope it will ease off as the day goes on.

I would advice using headphones and maybe switching the lights off when you watch the clip (to build up atmosphere, although it's a lot better playing it than it is watching it). It is a let's play for the first 10 minutes or so, but there is no commentary, so you can just soak up the atmosphere of the game. It's not perfect, but as I do not know if there is a demo, it will have to do. There are a few jump scares, but they do become more spaced out later in the game.

moonshineshadow: Noooooo... I'll remember this and start nagging you to play it ;-)
My most favorite games are Gothic 1 and 2, Lands of Lore 1 and Day of the Tentacle. They are awesome, everyone needs to play them :P
avatar
ddickinson: But I can't play it, I don't own it (and no gifting me it!). :-)
Yeah not gifting it to you, at least for the moment since we already have kind of a gifting deal ;-)
But one day I might surprise ninja gift you with it :P
(or are you not interested in it at all?)

moonshineshadow: You have a longbow? Now im envious!
I always wanted to try shooting with one.
avatar
ddickinson: It's lots of fun, and really powerful if strung correctly. But it can hurt your arm after a while. Have you done any archery before? I have used a mixture of bows, but I prefer the older bows, as I am not a fan of modern bows with all the weights and pulleys.
During one of my holiday trips there was a place nearby where you could try archery, so I tried it a bit and it was interesting, I always wanted to get into it more :-)

Nah..the muscle hangover won't be too. It's usually gone in a few hours. Yeah i'm looking forward to it...unfortunately i have to wait till this evening as i'm unable to find a place dark enough at the moment because of today's great weather :).
Thank you all for answering my little survey \o/

** Extra thank you hugs **

I'm glad to see most of you are doing fine, or at least "ok" (I knew I shouldn't have suggested this choice... and also, DD, you cheated and modified some of the answers !! ):-| ... it's not nice to cheat, young lady !!)
But sorry to read my favorite Agent is feeling down... :-(
What's wrong, Agent... ?

**Enormous crushing comforting hug with peanut butter topping **

PS : thank you Crow, for my daily coffee bath !!! :D

It's not that the game does not look interesting, it's just that I have not played many RPGs like that and was not sure I would enjoy it or not. Plus I have not had a lot of free gaming time to really enjoy a good RPG, so I figured I would leave it for now. I have heard a lot of good things about it, and several people have recommended it to me.

Were you using an older bow or a more modern bow? Archery is quite fun. The advantage of living in the countryside and having a lot of open land is that I can enjoy it all I want, just as long as I don't get too carried away. :-)

I once went to an activity with my mum where someone was doing archery displays. But I did not get on very well with the guy running it and he was not pleased with me. He kept trying to make me switch arms, and telling me that I should hold the bow string and not the end of the arrow. I ended up beating everyone there, and this really annoyed him as he was telling everyone he was an expert and his method was the proper method. It made him even more annoyed when I did switch arms and I was still as accurate. I am ambidextrous, so I can use both arms and hands the same for most tasks.

Do you think you will get to do any archery on your trip in June?

I really hope Day of the Tentacle will show up here at gog. In regards of Gothic 2, it is not sold here at the moment since it is sold by Nordic, but the Nordic games often reappear in big sales, so there would be a good chance that you can get it at a good price then if you are interested in it :-)
Thank you to the lovely triangle of European huggers :-)
I appreciate your hugs and kind words. **Extra-big thank you hugs for each of you**

Just some general life-long problems that are out of anyone's control, unfortunately :-/ ... I'll feel better, I'm sure.

I am indeed i played a bit of Gothic 2 years ago and unfortunately missed it here. It's obviously wishful thinking but maybe we get some Nordic in the current promo :).

Day of the Tentacle was recommended to me several times so i also hope to see it here at some point :).

I'll keep that in mind :-) And perhaps sometime in the future when you'll have a bit more time on your hands or a smaller backlog you can play it.

It was a more modern bow. I am not sure if there will be some place I could do it during my trip in June, I need to check that before :-)

It is definitely more fun (and scary) in the dark. As I said, keep in mind that there are a few jump scares in the 10 minute clip, but they are not this close together later on. But there are quite a few jump scares in the game, so keep that in mind. From what I have heard, it is more fast paced and action orientated then games like Amnesia (I can't really comment, as I have not yet played Amnesia).

Would you have rather I lied to you about how I was feeling? You did not include all the possible options, and I am not big on telling lies so I just modified it to tell you the truth. You would hate it more if I started lying to you, wouldn't you?

FearfulSymmetry: Good morning! At least it's a sign I've been doing something. :) *hugs*
Is it just general muscle pain, or is it your neck that is causing the most trouble? But as you said, at least it's a sign you are doing something, and it is bound to hurt your muscles at first. Just be sure to take it easy and not overdue it, we don't want you hurting yourself.

*return hug*

I'll try it out. Will see if the jumpscares are okay for me :).

Mostly general muscle pain, although my shoulders are a tad sensitive. My neck's doing pretty well at the moment, but whenever my neck's good my shoulder starts playing up and the other way around. I think they're compensating for each other. ;) It'll be fine though, thanks for your concern.
