I used to copy all my C&C CD's into my hard drive and play that way, can't remember now the workaround I used, but there is one. I had one disc shatter in the cd player, and had to buy a new copy, which is why I stopped using CD's to play off. Wrote to EA for a replacement, but they never bothered to reply.

I'm finding the combination of games in some of the GOG tower bundles to be strange, or in some cases, like the D&D games, just too many > too expensive.

Take the 'historical bundle' - why didn't they put Crusaders in with Europa Universalis II, it's a much better 'fit'. Or at least Europa Universalis (the first game), just for the sake of continuity? I love most of the Paradox games, have a lot of them on CD, but I never wanted to play Hearts of Iron.

I am a big fan of the Europa series - whisper it softly - I also have EU IV via a bundle at that rental site - it was the only way I could get it. <hides head in shame>

Yes, that would be a good tower bundle, as they seem to be down to 2 or less now, as they reach the top. At least that makes the total price more affordable, instead of the bundles with a ton of games - depending on the discount they give, of course.
