ElTerprise: Ehum....Don't. Mention. The war. :P
I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it alright. :-)

(Hopefully we are both quoting the same comedy scene from Fawlty Towers, or my comment won't make much sense.)

CarrionCrow: -laughs- I know you're having fun. It just annoys me that my country is a deranged joke in more ways than one.
Cheer up, we got a good movie out of it!

Actually i first heard about it when i saw the QI episode about germany on Youtube but i saw version of the Fawlty Towers one some years ago - but i kept that in mind :)

moonshineshadow: *more hugs*
My day was ok. Found some faults in the simulation but it is not running correctly yet, but I since my Prof. wanted me to do some other stuff so I did not have that much time.
And you missed nothing in regards of ninja gifting today. These are all new games, so no one had any of them on the wishlist of course ;-)
Sorry to hear about your simulation not being fixed yet. Do you think you will be able to solve the problem tomorrow, providing your professor does not want to distract you with more stuff to do?

Glad to hear I did not miss all the ninja gifting for once. It does seem that GOG decides to host these sales when I am busy or away. But at least we have you and Owl and all the other awesome and generous people here to ninja gift. Even if you do prevent me from gifting anyone by beating me to it with your super fast ninja skills. :-)

And you know, it is not like I am completely preventing you, I am giving you a chance with the limits I set myself :P

toxicTom: My wife insist on "war-chester". You know... tradition...
So it's either wooster-share or wester-shear.

This is blasphemy, this is madness!

And hello there DD, got tangled up in funky linguistics and blackadder videos.

fingers crossed you will get it all fixed tomorrow then.

I know you gave me a chance, strangely enough your limit is very similar to the one I set for myself when ninja gifting.

By the way, Worcestershire is pronounced Wustershire. It is a very old region and thus uses an older English dialect. Which is why it is pronounced differently than it is spelt, due to the age of the name.

Soccorro: No, but WE missed YOU! :(
avatar
ddickinson: Thank you, that is sweet of you to say. *big hug*

How are you today?

avatar
moonshineshadow: *big welcome hug* Did you have a nice day?
No idea about the bundles, not my type of games :-)
I don't think you missed something important, just some talk about board games, making soup, learning languages :P
avatar
ddickinson: *Extra big return hug*

My day was good, thank you. A bit long and I had some trouble at work with some machinery, but nothing too bad.

How was your day? Did you get your simulation sorted?

avatar
ElTerprise: Good Evening *big hug*...I'm fine how are you?

The bundles are really interesting but probably not for everyone :)
avatar
ddickinson: Glad to hear you are doing fine. I am doing well, tired after a long day at work but other than that I have no complaints.

*return hug*

avatar
CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

Can't complain here, doing some house reorganizing in between talking, freeing up space, clearing out clutter.

They both look interesting, and I'm a sucker for new items that come to the table at 75 percent off.
Men of War in particular looks interesting, since there's more variety to the titles than yet another World War 2-based RTS.

How was your day?
avatar
ddickinson: Good evening, Crow!

I have not had a proper look at the bundles yet, I will do that tomorrow when I am not so tired. But they have a nice sale discount, especially as some of those games are new to GOG.

My day was quite taxing, but nothing too bad. Still got a few more weeks of hard work before things start to calm down a little, but other than that I am doing good.

avatar
toxicTom: Seconded :-)

*big hug DD*
avatar
ddickinson: I said this a while ago in another thread, but this place really is just full of softies. :-)

*Big return hug*
Im fine and you? :)

Hello, j0ekerr!

How are you today?

avatar
Soccorro: Im fine and you? :)
That's good to hear.

Are there any bundles you are hoping will appear?

ddickinson: Hello, j0ekerr!

Tried my hand at painting miniatures again after years of my paints collecting dust.

Wasn't great, but didn't look terrible either.

Perhaps we should make it a general rule for all the gifting addicts here :P

something that contains lords of xulima or pillats of eternity :/

Hum...what rule?

I set myself the limit to only ninja gift people here once during a sale to keep the gifting from getting out of hand ;-)
(with the exception of a few special titles should they appear)

Ah okay...sounds reasonable :).
