I can’t set up a GoGwiki right now, since I use my wishlist as a reference to keep track of publishers and certain games, because of the abominable GoG site search function. Currently there are 16 games on it, and only about 6 that I actually want to get. heh! (I’ll figure something out.) :D

Yeah sometimes it helps. But Chrome is definitely worse than Firefox concerning memory...;).

adaliabooks: Well, as mentioned before, playing it will probably be fine. It'll be the crashing every time I close that will get annoying.

But I should probably close Chrome when I play games... as it eats my computers memory and causes all sorts of problems... but I'm a certified addict so it's hard to do that :/

Also, I've got a scenario for you, if you have a moment - Summer's coming, and summer is always brutal around here. 100+ degrees Fahrenheit for weeks at a time.
Problem is, the space I have is short on cooling with all the tech loaded up, so there's really no AC in here.
Combine that with the computer stuff, and it ends up being maybe 100 to 105 degrees in here every day aside from a few hours in the middle of the night.

That leads into my dilemma - I'm thinking of grabbing a New 3DS. Other parts of the house do have AC, they're comfortable. With the handheld, I could make use of it and not fry for 3-4 months.
But, the Summer sale is coming. If I don't take advantage of that, I don't get another chance for 6 months.
I don't want to be annoyed for half a year over a sale I didn't pillage like crazy.

Which way would you go?

Best would be it it changed its mind and left me alone, but it doesn't look like it; I've now also have a slight fever (37.5.°C), yikes! ;-)

I couldn't play this way. When I play the game I want to really sink in, not think about other things. Hard enough to do it with all the real life stuff happening around me.
But I also know people who play games and have the TV on and (non-game) music as well... and probably they are "what's-apping" at the same time too.

I used to do that, but my attention is too scattershot these days. Downside of instant information access, I guess.
I'll put other music on over the top of games, but only when the music has started looping to the point of annoyance. Wouldn't put a show on top unless I'm doing something mindless like grinding away on an RPG or something. Then it's Netflix on one side with the game on the other.

-laughs- It's not something I do when I want to really focus on something. I'm not superhuman, I know the info processing is degraded doing it that way.
But with something like 7th Saga, I'd definitely have other things running so I didn't put my foot through the monitor.
