CarrionCrow: Definitely. =)

Wasn't expecting a heavy sale this month, will have to see how the bundles look, how much more coin I can squeeze out. Figuring that things being loaded up now probably won't be a part of Summer, the same items with heavy discounts less than two months apart seems unlikely.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Really interesting will be the bundles with "never before seen on GOG" stuff. ;)
Let's hope they will be good games, or else we will be stuck in the decision to buy bundles with games we don't want or buy the games not at the maximum discount :P

Thinking it'll be things like Warner Bros. items.
They put out FEAR 2 at 60 percent off at launch, so they're willing to put prices into bundle-level discounts.
If they have any sense at all, they'll be loading up things like the Batman Arkham series for GOG release. Those are good enough to keep making them money from everyone with an interest who won't touch the competition.

CarrionCrow: Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone.

Hopefully you're all doing well. =)

Started my day off with a ninja gift from Moonshine, so now my Broken Sword series is complete. Definitely smiling on that one.
If you haven't already, bombarding her with more +1's would be very much appreciated.
Hello Crow, i +1 her already :).

There is also the third option of buying the bundle as a gift, redeeming what you want and give the rest to others who will want them.

How does this actually work? I really don't know about it....

Same here. Tend to do that on general principle, so it can be tricky to find posts that haven't been.

Yes it would. Asylum and City are both very good games. Haven't heard much of anything good about Origins, though. That's the one I haven't played yet, too many comments about gamebreaker bugs.

ElTerprise: How does this actually work?
If you redeem a gift code with several games in it, you can select which games you want to redeem. After that the code can be given to someone else to redeem games that are still left.

Let's make an example out of the Hasbro D&D Bundle. It contains 10 games; Baldur's Gate 1+2, Dragonshard, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, Icewind Dale 1+2, Neverwinter Nights 1+2, Planescape: Torment and Temple of Elemental Evil. Assume that a prospective buyer doesn't want Demon Stone, Dragonshard and Temple of Elemental Evil. If he buys the rest of the 7 games separately, they will cost more to him than if he bought them all together. The solution? Simple; he buys the whole bundle as a gift, proceeds to redeem the giftcode and only select the 7 out of the 10 games. Once done, the giftcode will only contain the 3 games, which can be given to another person.

Origins isn't too bad. It's a decent game but highly iterative. I liked the crime scene mechanic though....I experienced no gamebreaking bugs..but i had serious issues with the game at launch due to my AMD card....*sigh*...
But City and Asylum are both far superior...i actually like Asylum better (? is that correct) than City...:).

That can happen if there suddenly turn up gifts which are not on sale :P
(since when sales start I am normally here and buy stuff myself)
