Yep, I was mostly studying, but it was a nice and quiet weekend all the same and I got to sleep in. :)

It's just that it's that time of the month, she had a large spring cleaning yesterday (which makes her really sensitive) and the worst day is the one after the cleaning; the slightest disturbance in the cleanliness turns her into a bloodthirsty predator. Unfortunately she caught the cat washing herself in a laundry basket. As of now she's taking measures to remove her from the house ;~;

I love being able to get in the morning, when it's light outside allready (please tell me I didn't just say something overly dutchy flavoured)

I recall a speed setting and various sliders, but I don't think difficulty was among them

Yeah I thought so but I wanted to make sure. I found an installer to help me run it but it also tweeks the game and I wanted to make sure that wasn't one of the tweeks.

I think you are right. Game speed and scroll speed are the only ones I remember. (and I think volume.)
I don't think the series had difficulty until Red Alert, when you could change it for skirmishes(?)

RA 1 does have a difficulty setting; I'm playing that off and on too. :P
I can't play any of these new releases because of my old PC so I'm on a severe retro RTS binge. XD
