Donkey talk, feel free to report as spam. :P

So we get him into the trailer almost killing us, and as my dad and I are getting the trailer hooked to the car Eeyore starts freaking out so my mother goes in and starts petting him to calm him down.

She's rubbing his belly and it's then she notices his 2nd testicle has dropped which must have just happened in the last 48 hours, and which also means we don't have to drive his ass (pardon the pun) 500 miles to the nearest animal hospital, get him operated on, and then baby him for two weeks while he heals.

Okay we got him back out of the trailer and back with the other two girls where he is still shaken but obviously relieved.

I for one am covered in bruises which I'm sure he's happy about. XD

Just popped for a sec, I wanted to share an amusing anecdote.

So a friend of mine expressed interest in Guild Wars 2.
I noticed it's on sale this weekend.
I messaged him to let him know.
He replied "Thanks but I don't have the time to play right now."
To which my brain went; "what's being able to play it got to do with anything? It's 75% off, that's reason enough!"

I have become a sales addict.

500 miles? Wow...always figured your location was remote, but I didn't think it was that remote.

Always rough when an animal is in pain. They freak out, it's not like you can talk with them and explain things, put them at ease.

Sounds like you took one (or more like several) for the team. I'm sure they'd thank you if they were able to do so.

-laughs- Yeah, that's definite sales fiend behavior right there. As soon as the deal overrides every other thought, you're there.

CarrionCrow: Lucky for you. After the 200th refresh, it started getting a bit frustrating. After 400, I was starting to get angry.
avatar
ElTerprise: Then you had lot more patience than me ;)....i was about to bite in my desk..:P
I was pretty close for a while. Finally gave up because it wasn't getting better, no matter what I did to try to fix it.

ddickinson: I was going through some boxes in the attic a little earlier and I found my old PS2 and my GameCube, complete with some lovely games that bring back so many wonderful memories.
avatar
toxicTom: *Envy*

Not because of the memories - I don't have them since I never owned a console, sadly. But because i.e. the PS2 had a few games I read a lot about and always would have liked to play. Say, for instance, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Or Killer 7... or or or...
It's always those two games which make people remember fondly the PS2. Colossus and Ico.
----------
Call me a Mi-go and spank my pseudopods, I just noticed the 1000 Digital Boxes announcement in the front page.

I also noticed that a certain red-eyed bird is missing from the list of names.

Budejovice got a t-shirt though.

-laughs- No surprise there. I have 739 right now. More than a few people have a lot more.
Even if I grab my old list in its entirely, the one with 150 plus items, I probably still wouldn't be in that group of 50.
I think I'll get some sleep now now - hopefully - as the wind intensified over the last hour *sigh*...

Anyway, good night everyone!

I was looking at some of those numbers.
Barry Woodward shows 1110 on his shelf and a whopping 2 (not released yet) on his wishlist.
I'm not even 'good' customer yet. :-)

Ixamyakxim: I did not know he was a baseball fan - that's awesome. You know, I always wanted to get into DS9, but by the time I was told how great it was it was deep into its ongoing plot and I was lost. Had no clue about creatures in the wormhole or the weird orbs, missed the entire line about why the Cardassians were on the station and then when the major fleets assembled I didn't know where they came from or who was fighting whom. I always manged to "jump in" right when I needed to know the most. And never had good luck finding a good re-airing with all the episodes run regularly in proper order. Now that doing such things is so much easier I have to get around to it.

Also LOL at the new avatar. Without the post reply I might never have realized it was you LOL ;) Things well?
If you have access to netflix I strongly recommend binging on DS9. It's become my favorite ST series , but as a kid/teen growing up I didn't really care about the political maneuvering as much as I enjoyed TNG.

" Also LOL at the new avatar. Without the post reply I might never have realized it was you LOL ;) Things well? " Not really, but I'll take that to PM rather than bog down the thread here.

Already got into the whole "best customer based on money spent" thing in the thread for it.

Not going to get wrapped up in the endless quasi-game of feeling compelled to grab everything just so I can show off how big my GOG dick is. That's just a little more crazy than I want the experience of getting games to be.

You're not?!

You'd be a terrible xbox live user then, the whole point of... well, points is to show off the size of your xbox-penis!

-laughs- Happy to say I've never used that particular service.

Points are just a rough reminder of how much I've played a game, and thanks to the 360 being such a technological marvel that the piece of shit can't be on for more than 10 seconds without getting hot enough to cook an egg on it, I get to look around to accumulating more useless points while I run through my 360 backlog on a new machine.

I said that in pure jest. :-)
I am not impressed by rep or number of games owned, hell you know that.
They are both worth some lighthearted 'bragging points', that's all.
All in fun, they're just games after all. :-)
