Glad you got that sorted. Green button applied. ;)

Soccorro: I fucked up. A patient died because of me. It's my fault. the tubus i prepared was too small and i didn't know what happened. My head is aching. He became pale and he was bleeding out of his mouth. I'm sorry. I needed to get rid of all that.
Things like that are NOT anyone's fault!
You do the best you can, that's all anyone can do.
Perfection is too much to expect from anyone, especially someone brand new to the job.
I understand how bad you must feel, but ease up, life just happens sometimes.

Oh dear....i'm sorry..
i can only second what Endre said. It's not your fault...
It's occupational hazard - i don't mean that cynical - it can happen...

But i can imagine how bad you feel right now...

I doubt that it was your fault. Surely the senior paramedics bear some of the responsibility, and sometimes no matter what you do, people die. It's a sad fact that not everyone can be saved :(
The northwest side is done.

And now for something completely different.

GOGBears, GOGBears everywhere!

Your first fatality? Don’t start blaming yourself. You didn't cause it, and It is unlikely that you hastened the death with the wrong sized tubes, especially with the sign of bleeding from the mouth, indicating internal hemorrhaging. You’re just there to stabilize and transport the people, and in worst case scenarios comfort them as much as you can in their last moments. All you can do is save the ones you can.

My roommate was a paramedic in South Central L.A., and saw everything from train versus people to gunshot victims, and had seen her share folks who died in their homes or held some in her arms whilst they were dying. But she also saved hundreds of people too, It’s part of the job.

The game in question is Armada 2526. It's a slightly older 4x game; not well known and not generaly well recieved as far as I know, but still fun enough to play.

Battle for Middle earth II doesn't even come close; the players have had a battle in which they defended a town with naught but a large tall palisade and a mob of peasant archers against a 6x as large mob of marauding goblins.
...
Glad to hear it works! And the game looks interesting, (I watched some gameplay videos)... :)

Ah, well, I installed Battle for Middle Earth 2 (and the expansion) about two years ago and still haven't played through them, but it's taking up almost 8 gigs of space, so I'll need to get to it soon, to make room for other games in the back log.

And on a side note, Fear 2 is interesting, different gameplay than the first. I just played tested the first couple levels though. It runs well too but, I'll have to get to it later so it's uninstalled and backlogged.
Okay...dozed off again, woke up again, but thank the gods, it seems that the forum isn't utterly broken to the point of uselessness like it was almost all day yesterday.

All my naps are keyboard naps. -laughs-

Forgot how much TV makes my brain shut down. Doing a multi-season marathon has thoroughly reminded me, though.
I don't give a shit about the characters the show wants me to care about, and I wish that the main character would get hit by a bus.

Pretty much the same way here with most tv/movies.
1/2hr in I say screw it and go to bed. Too much stupid most times. ;)
I'm off for now. See you all later!
