tinyE: Are you asking me or Soccorro?
avatar
Vnlr: anyone, I'm curious ;)
I don't think there is anything bad about it, all things relative I mean. XD Of course everything has bad aspects but if we get into that we'll all be committing suicide within the hour. :P

Soccorro: Men don't belong on ice... That's unnatural. We are suposed to hunt and kill in mud!
Men have been on the ice since the beginning of time. XD If it wasn't for man on ice we never would have crossed the Bering Strait and populated the Western continents.

Nah, It's just a boring sport. Just like Soccer...

ElTerprise: *gasp* :|
:D Yep, Soccer is the European answer to Nascar xD

Soccorro: :D Yep, Soccer is the European answer to Nascar xD
Well Nascar is boring but football (soccer)...not that i'm any good at it but i think it is fun...

avatar
ElTerprise: That's probably the reason it was chosen... but the unfortunately didn't really bother with possible issues due to the track leading there...
avatar
adaliabooks: Well they did mention it was difficult to get to, but we just thought it was a slightly steep road... not that you needed Sherpas and mountain goats to get there... :/
So the wedding was in the Himalaya... ;P

Well in my opinion... But you have my permission to like it :D
I find sport not to be at all interesting actually; there is a very interesting set of books though, written by a biologist who analyses humans as if they're just another species of monkey or some ordinary animal. Very amusing, and of course quite accurate :)

He deduces that sport competitions and supporter's behaviour is a modern form of tribal combat. The big warriors fight it out with support from the associated mob.

To me the views of people in disco's/at party's jumping up and down shouting and waving their arms over their heads in some dark hall has also got something very primitive. like cavemen dancing about in a dark cave on the ritualistic thumping of a shaman. You won't ever find me at such occasions XD

edit: I am most overly fond of the Sacre though, and had the pleasure to wittnes it on one occasion a few months ago :P

Vnlr: \ for the record, I have a clean .NET 4.5.1 install and the game refuses to work, still stating "game requires .NET 3.5 or newer to...". I noticed these prerequisites are checked in an ini file. I could create a virtual disk image and mod it there, then use that virtual disc to install the game...I hope; but we'll see about that.

anything been going on here?
go to the programs and features as administrator, uninstall, re-install, reboot, try again.
Good afternoon friends, how's everyone this sunday morning/afternoon?

And does anyone want to help me with the last stretch of the tower?

I can assure you that not all men are Pop-cicles. :)

l0rdtr3k: Bored...Will watch Sin City again tonight.
Ah, a not so guilty pleasure.

Frank Miller was actually good before he went insane.

And forgot how to draw.

CarrionCrow: Can't complain too much here. The forum's working just in time for me to start getting tired (go figure), but at least it's working now.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't call it solitude with a house full of animals wondering where their owners/caregivers are. It's like being in a house with small 4-legged children.

About 7 and a half hours til dawn, morning's technically in about 7 minutes, and I'll probably be asleep long before the sun's up. -laughs-

Additional - Well, so much for staying awake. Time to get some sleep. Have a good night/day, everyone.

ZenWan: That's a lot of animals to feed and care for, the bills must be astronomical. Or do you feed them to one another when they're big enough? <evil grin>

Most days you and I have one thing in common, you're usually heading for bed in the early hours, just when I'm getting up.

Just saw your edit, it's an early night for you then, hope you get lots of sleep.
Thankfully I'm not stuck with the bills on that. The roommates get to deal with the cost there, since the animals are all theirs.

Children that you can train to do your bidding without parents complaining.

Think of the possibilities, mwa ha hahahaha!

So I've been listening to the secondary, tertiary, quandary and quintessential phases all in a row.

My main problem with it all is that it's pretty much impossible to actually like any of the characters. Sure you can root for them, but you don't have to like them. All too often I felt I wanted to punch Ford in the face.

Even Arthur is guilty of moments which deserve their own Darwin award.

And the way tertiary seems to dismiss everything that happened in secondary without ever explaining why.

adaliabooks: I don't think it's anything serious, not even sure if it's new. Just the undercarriage (not sure whether that's the right word) looks like it's come loose a bit. My partner's brother in law is a mechanic though, so hopefully he'll be able to have a look at it and sort it out if it needs anything done.

It was a beautiful (if slightly desolate) spot, and the cottage that they were renting is apparently used for a lot of weddings but we certainly wouldn't do anything there again... I wouldn't even want to drive up the track in a car, nevermind in a van...
As far as my limited knowledge goes the undercarriage is usually a plate of quite strong steel precisely in anticipation of such hits.

It can still break though.

I remember having to drive through twisty mountain roads one and a half lanes wide while on the job. Every time I neared a curve I began playing 'La cucaracha' on the horn.

It was nerve wrecking.

The cats are assholes unless they want something and the dogs are like retarded meth addicts.
I'd better have some exceedingly simple bidding for them to do.
