ZenWan: Good morning to you - in your case very early in the morning.

Help yourself, coffee's still hot. All well here, how are things in your desert? Are you enjoying your solitude, furry companions aside?

Editing to say I see that you're still night-time, haven't reached morning yet. I hadn't checked Foxclocks, which keeps me up to date with all the time zones. You've a lot of hours to go yet....:-D

CarrionCrow: Can't complain too much here. The forum's working just in time for me to start getting tired (go figure), but at least it's working now.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't call it solitude with a house full of animals wondering where their owners/caregivers are. It's like being in a house with small 4-legged children.

About 7 and a half hours til dawn, morning's technically in about 7 minutes, and I'll probably be asleep long before the sun's up. -laughs-

Additional - Well, so much for staying awake. Time to get some sleep. Have a good night/day, everyone.
That's a lot of animals to feed and care for, the bills must be astronomical. Or do you feed them to one another when they're big enough? <evil grin>

Most days you and I have one thing in common, you're usually heading for bed in the early hours, just when I'm getting up.

Just saw your edit, it's an early night for you then, hope you get lots of sleep.
Good morning everyone! *hugs and waves*

It's a great morning here and i hope you're all doing good as well :).

ZenWan: Firstly, Hello to you, Vnlr, we haven't met before. I liked your choice of music, will play it a little later.

Glad to hear that you solved the problems you were having. If you do run into .NET problems again, here's a link to verify if your .NET installation is corrupted.

NET Framerowk Setup Verification Tool:

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Also, instead of using the rather primitive Task Manager, try Process Explorer:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb795533.aspx

It's way more powerful and a very useful little tool.

Thanks for the link you gave, ElT, I've saved it, as .NET errors do pop up from time to time.

Editing to say what a relief it was that post went through without any problems. GoG was really weird yesterday - I hope it's sorted out whatever the problem was - although it might just be because this is a quiet time on the site. I hope there won't be another day like yesterday. :-(
You're welcome. Yeah .NET can be really annoying. Hell i only wanted to install Office 2010 and .NET did some ugly sliding tackle to me....this verification tool really saved me...

j0ekerr: Well, that's enough crafting for today, I think I've proggressed enough for one afternoon though. It's looking rather nice at the moment.

So what have I missed?

Time to speed read through the thread.
That's awesome. I tip my hat to your patience and planning to manage something like that.
And I feel compelled to share this. Sorry.

Yeah, the catering itself went fine. Everyone loved the food, the buffet looked great and we got everyone served in about an hour and a half (which was a lot better than I had thought). The people were really nice too.

The location however was on top of a f*cking mountain... the van nearly slid down, or over the edge into a valley, a number of times on the way up... and we had all kinds of trouble trying to find somewhere flat to park so we could work. We knew it wasn't the best place to get to, but didn't realise it was quite that bad. But it all worked out in the end and we got out alive, and with only some minor damage (possibly, looks like the undercarraige has been bashed a bit) to the van.
