Okay, let's try this AGAIN. Frigging piece of crap broken-ass forum...

Good morning, D. Good morning, EIT. Please forgive my condensing of greetings, it seems GOG has seen fit to take my reply button away.

Hopefully you're both having a pleasant morning.

moonshineshadow: good morning *wave* I am sure you will do fine at the wedding, your pizza seems to be great so I am sure they'll like it :-)
Thanks Moon :) *waves*

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

You'll be fine. The food's good, you can handle yourself professionally, everything will turn out well and you'll have a lot of happy people.
Thanks Crow, just hoping the weather holds as well (it looks like showers in the afternoon and dry by the evening, so as long as the forecasters have it right we should be fine)

And hello to everyone else who has joined the thread :)

Good morning :). I'm fine neck is better than yesterday.

So GOG ate your posts? That's annoying. Had that yesterday at some point.....

ElTerprise: Good morning :).
Hey EIT,

What are you up to today? Are you off for the weekend?
avatar
adaliabooks: Hey EIT,

Doing some research on two possible topics for a presentation in university and possibly some cleaning of the terrace roof and hopefully enjoying the great weather....

Sounds like fun....
At least the weather is decent :)
How is your linux / dual boot set up going? Is it stable now or have you had more problems?
avatar
LaPtiteBete: Eeeek :-| ... You didn't feel it at all ?...
Once I had a lense who broke into two parts while still on my eye, and it was painful as f*ck :'-O
- super late reply time -

Well, I did feel it when I was still wearing the rest of the lens. I only lost a small part at the edge of the lens. Wearing the large remaining part hurts, so I'm wearing my glasses for now, but I didn't really feel the small bit left behind.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing all right?

Mostly. I'm happy with Xubuntu now. The interface is better than the stock ubuntu one imho. I just have some small issues for example the volume control is not working properly yet. But Linux is so fast when booting and shutting down :)
BTW: ToME on linux has some weird issues with the mouse cursor when using the game specific one....at least at my setup....

avatar
adaliabooks: That being said I'll be busy most of today too catering for a wedding (*gulp* bit nervous as we've never done one before.. but we made loads of lovely platters of anti pasti and salad yesterday so it's mostly just making the pizzas today)
That sounds exciting. Best of luck for it! :)

Good morning. Hmm you changed your avatar again :). Mostly still have that annoying neck pain - how are you doing today? You will be working on the thesis i assume?

That sound like another reason for me not to wear lenses *shudder* - apart from the fact that i'm not able to handle them properly....

It's a bit more than just that. The page doesn't want to load completely, or refresh, or let me uprate posts, or reply, unless I refresh the page 50 or 60 times and get lucky besides.

Screw it, it's almost 3 in the morning. I don't have the patience to sit here screaming at GOG's broken shit all night long.

Guess I'll grab some sleep instead. Have a good day, everyone. =)

Uh..that sounds awful. My problems with the site are only some small annoyances compared to that....:(

Anyway...sleep well and see you later :).

That's good :)

What's it doing? To be honest I hate the mouse cursor in it anyway... I don't really use it for anything and it tends to call up annoying popups when I don't want it to...

Thank you :)

You're welcome :).

The cursor has some flickering and is surrounded by some white square....
It seems that the Dead Synchronicityis' soundtrack is still priced at £18.99 (£17.09 sale price) for me. I am still guessing it's an error, but would anyone put it past Daedalic charging the UK that much?

avatar
ElTerprise: Thank you - i hope that the pain will be gone during the day. How are you doing today in sptie of the weather?
I am doing well today. A bit busy finishing some things off, but nothing too bad. The rain has stopped for now, and the cold breeze is quite nice.

avatar
moonshineshadow: Yep, doing ok ;-)
At the moment I am busy with the usual weekend cleaning of my apartment. But I should be done soon.
Does that mean you are feeling a bit more motivated today? Or are you still feeling a bit bored with things? If you are, I could always go pay a visit to your wishlist and see if there is a game that could help. ;-)

Good morning, Crow!

Nothing to forgive, so don't worry about it, you can't help how the forum behaves. Strangely enough I never seem to have some of the problems you all seem to get.

How are you today? Anything nice planned for the weekend, or just the usual things?

Ah, can't say I'm getting that. Unfortunately having no knowledge of linux I couldn't even begin to help...

Yup, showing as that for me too... considering it's more than the game itself (and more than most albums I've bought) I'm hoping it must be an error..
I wonder if that's supposed to be the price for the game and the soundtrack?

I was just thinking the same, I hardly ever have many problems with the forum or website (outside of major sales and big events), I wonder why?

Disabling game specific cursor solved it for me for the moment. And i think it's a linux specific issue as i don't get it on my windows laptop either...
