CarrionCrow: It was either that or some variety of wine. Ever mix wine with coffee? Makes for a fairly disgusting taste experience.
I know all about that. Have been doing that for years now. Always makes staying on any kind of schedule a complete mess, trying to mesh that with being awake during the day, working, doing things.
In your case, though, it's got to be even harder trying to keep some kind of energy level in between working and caring for your children.
):-| Holy cow... never mix -anything- with wine !! (except to make some hot wine with cinammon, spices and oranges bits in winter... okay...). Wine and coffee sounds like a foolish "dare" challenge...
Yes, it's sometimes quite challenging, I must admit.
ElTerprise: Well i've only read the original cycle with drawings from
Moebius (what a genius) yet... (i'm just a huge fan of franco-belgian comics).
Comics would be the correct term (it's the same word in Germany) (which doesn't fit always imho) the french word
bande desinée is far better :) because it differentiates the comics from comical...
Otherwise the term graphic novel would be an option ... but i don't know if it fits either...
(Yes, Moebius !!! \o/)
I agree, "comics" makes me think about Marvel comics, Batman, and random superheroes... :-|
Graphic novel...... I have no idea...... Does the expression "comic strip" mean something different either ?... (It makes me think about the very short, "one line" comics in the newspapers, maybe ... ?)
