"Pass" has become a dirty word in videogames, coupled with the world "season", even more so

It's even more annoying because the open letter with which they puffed out their chests, and which is still quite fresh in the minds of many, seemed to imply that they would not be doing this sort of thing. I infered that they would be pursue a different business model.
I sometimes think CDPR/GOG are acting out of a bit of naivete. They are trying to copy what works on other platforms (and often make it better). I think the backlash concerning the "expansion pass" came as a surprise to them. Maybe they were just "proud to announce". Either that or they are nearing bankruptcy and are hoping pre-selling expansion for a not yet released game might save them.
Scary thought.

ElTerprise: Without a doubt. I also the second and the third (also known as the first trilogy) but the fourth is somewhat tough to read... but i want to finish it to get to the second trilogy (and then to the prequels and other sequels...)

That would be nice altough the controls are terrible by today's standards, i.e. no multiselection of units etc..

If you're also interested in Dune 2k - there is a free version in OpenRA :).
