CarrionCrow: It's not too bad. How much memory retention there'll is debatable, but I can say I read everything. -laughs-

Good evening to you as well. =)

ElTerprise: Well i also read everything ^^
Not exactly putting my current odds as high since I'm leaving words out of posts. -laughs-

Just beat my current record at Super Hexagon by a whopping 0.14 seconds though, so it's not a total loss.

This sums it up better than I could describe it.

Personal opinion - it's a great game, and the price is ridiculous, even at retail.
At half price, if you have any interest in speed games, upping your reflexes or seeing how a game can almost be used as a kind of meditation, it's a must have.

ElTerprise: True - But the last hours should be easy then...;)

Good evening, Crow :).

Or what I do which is diving mosh-pit style right in the thick of it.

'Course sometimes you hit the floor.

The second level of the tower is shaping up nicely.

Good $daytime all!

Just reporting back from battling chaos and later entertaining my wife (who's now in bed).
I'll just finish my drink, and I'll be off too.

Towards the end, things speeded up to the point tha they seemed to flow together and I couldn't really really diferentiate shapes individually with any accuracy at all.

How the hell did that guy do it?

Would say that by the end the person wasn't thinking anymore. Everything was pure reaction, all information being processed and acted on with no lag time at all. Only way you can make it that far.

For comparison, my best time is 62 seconds, and that's on the starting level.

Good evening. =)

Hopefully your purging of said chaos has been successful for the day.

It's pretty much a guarantee that you will at first. When I started, I was getting game over'd less than 5 seconds in.

Haven't really had a chance to play that one. Got it in a bundle, but also got wrapped up in Meat Boy, so it's been sitting.
It's supposed to be pretty good. I can load it up, try it and tell you what I think before the promo ends if you like.
Having slow download today. ANy fix?

It would really nice but only if you really want to...

I think I'm starting to see the similarities between Super Hexagon and tidying a kids' room... *no thinking - pure input-reaction-feedback-loop*

No seriously, sound like SHex is a really hypnotic experience. I've experienced it once in a while whith games (first time: Katakis on C64). Sadly I'm not "undisturbed" enough currently to get that deep into a game atm. And when I would have the time (like the mornings of this week) I rather rely on good old Zen sittings. Although the mental states are rather similar, a game comes with the danger of frustration overriding the "Zen" and I desperately need it to work right now, so I can't take the risk :-)
