Well I need to get some more work done. So I shall talk with you all later. Take care and enjoy your day. And try to behave yourselves while I am gone. :-)

Yes go and learn geography things about geography!

ddickinson: What are your thought on the current era of American documentaries? Over here we only seem to get trashy and gimmicky documentaries from America, ones I hear people call redneck documentaries.
There seem to be very few ... (how to put this?...) ones that don't suck? :-p
There are usually two types in theatres ; 1) IMAX 3D gimmicks narrated by the most famous celebrities in the world, and 2) super-biased political documentaries that are completely inaccurate, misleading, and dangerous.

Television doesn't have many at all anymore. Most of the formerly respectable channels that used to have decent documentaries only show "reality" programs now. However, the PBS channel (Public Broadcasting Service) can always be counted on for quality, non-biased, non-gimmicky documentaries on a variety of topics.

LaPtiteBete: Them ?... lol :-D
Well, they might think you're crazy, yeah ; especially if you say them hello from a crow, an owl, a badass still lovely farmer girl (don't hit me DD ',',,',':-O lol), and more... :-|
I say "them" to sound gender-neutral. It is only one person :-)
I was thinking the exact same thing... "An Owl, a Crow, a Battle Sister, a floating "G", and a man with Mormon nurses in his basement all say "hello"!!... "
... I'm not sure how well that would go. I think I might just say "the thread says hello" (they know a bit about the thread ;-))

hahaha....uhm what??? ;)

CarrionCrow: The food mechanic feels like a holdover from games like Eye of the Beholder, early grid-based RPG's.

Only thing is, in Eye of the Beholder, clerics eventually have create food spells. Helps ditch some of the annoyance.
avatar
ddickinson: No food spells that I know of, but I guess Moon would know more about it than I would. I would have loved a food spell though, it would free up inventory and save a lot of micro-managing.
There is no food spell. But if you want my honest opinion, the food problem was not such an annoyance in the first one. In the second Legend of Grimrock it is much worse in my opinion, the only thing that saved me from completely dying there sometimes was the one ring I found which stopped the character from starving. So that I could run all over the map to a resurrection crystal with that one character while all others were dead. But it was still a good game :D

LaPtiteBete: < Google : "pine for"... "wean"...> Hooooo :'-| poor little lambs...
Ho, you shear your sheeps !! :-D (I've always wished to try this)... What do you do with their wool then ? Do you sell it to someone who turn it into nice wool skeins and balls ? :-)
It is sad to see them missing their mums, but they need to be weaned of milk. We sell the wool, mostly to local fabric makers. Normally we sold the sheep for meat as well, but as I said before, this year we are experimenting with not having to slaughter animals and rely on extra crops and other things. We won't know how viable it will be until after the summer harvest. If need be we will just go back to slaughtering animals, which means having more animals again but not having to rely so much on crops.

I better get some more work done. Take care lovely Owl!

*Goodbye hug*
