Hey everyone, are you all doing all right? Had a fun easter? Mine was pretty good, although I spent most of it studying.

Good Morning. I'm doing fine. Easter was great and today starts my new semester at university :).

adaliabooks: Lol, hope it works ok.
I just did all updates and some tweaks to it. I think i actually like the xubuntu desktop better than the standard unity desktop...unfortunately the reinstallation means that i also have to reinstall all the games installed i.e. FTL, ToME and PoE....*sigh*

ddickinson: Glad to hear things are looking up for you (despite a few less than spectacular events), and so early in the year as well. Fingers crossed you have a great summer season. I bet it's such a relief for you both to have things looking more positive and seeing all your hard work paying off?
Thanks, we're pleased to have found something that seems to work, and it's certainly nice not to have to worry so much. We're pretty busy all summer now (we looked to see when we might be able to have a bit of time off, and we haven't got a clear week till September) so as long as everything goes well we should be fine.

Ugh, that's a pain. Especially PoE as from what I've seen installation takes a long time.
As much as I'd like to experiment with Linux, I think I'll stick with Windows for now...

Well it's a tarball archive which is about 6gb big. PoE doesn't have a linux installer as of yet. So actually the archive has to be extracted and the 14 gb in it copied to a useful location.

Ah, I imagine that'll still take quite a long time...

For all the Grimrock fans in the thread this looks like quite a nice release:

Heard a bit about it as I'm sure it came out (or will come out) on Wii U or 3DS at some point.

Hello!

I am glad you had a good Easter, even if it was spend mostly studying. How are your studies going? I hope everything is going well for you?

You will have to remember to leave yourself some time next summer so you can enjoy a nice holiday. The advantage is that you should be able to go on vacation out of season, and avoid all the kids and crowds during summer. That way you two can have a nice relaxing time together.

Hey! It's going quite well, I just heard that I passed the first exam I had, and I'll have another one on Thursday. Between that and reading up on texts for my thesis it's been quite busy. :)

Congratulations on passing the first exam, and the best of luck with the next exam on Thursday. *good luck hug*

I can imagine it keeping you busy. Hopefully all your hard work will pay off in the end.

Hehe, yeah... well we just booked up any events we could, and then got these regular pitches so it turned out to not leave us much time for anything else.
But we'll probably take a lot of time off over December and January as they were/are very quite.
It'll probably take a bit of sorting out to get everything right...
Okay i'm off to university. See you all later!

How are you coping with all the construction work near your house? I remember you saying that there was some work going on further down the street and that it was causing a lot of problems for you while trying to study.
