CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

Can't complain here, how's your day been?
avatar
adaliabooks: Long :/

Not quite as good as the event was last year which was a bit disappointing, but not a bad day. Long and tiring though..

Nice to be home and relaxing :)
Well...shit. Glad you're done, but sorry to hear that the coin wasn't as good.

CarrionCrow: It's an exercise in trading mental (and occasionally physical) pain for a sense of accomplishment.

Maybe it's funny to me because there's a level where you're dodging three of those at once. The guy would probably hyperventilate, piss himself and fall over.

superstande: :)
Not the best platformer gamer myself, but I have seen people do some amazing stuff, and it kind of has made me feel we humans have great potential, also in games :)
Lots of things are possible if you're willing to suffer enough. ;)

You win some, you lose some, what can you do?

Just another point in favour of local regular pitches instead of big annual events. We're moving that way anyway, but this one (which was really great last year) being such a disappointment is just confirming that it's the right way to go. It's a lot more reliable, less work and generally more fun.

I'm all for lessons learned, but on a base level I just wish they'd bought more of your pizza. ;)

All right, enough negative shit from me.
You and your girlfriend worked your asses off. That's of value.
And like you said, you got a reminder that your new approach will be superior in the long run. That counts too, definitely.

When you've got a moment, feel free to check your PM's, and enjoy your downtime. =)

EndreWhiteMane: Nice. ;)
Until I can figure out what's involved in getting a high-end pizza shipped out to the dust all the way from the UK, it'll do.

Maybe some kind of special container, overnight delivery? I don't know. -laughs-

Hi Crow,

Asides from the weekly grocery shopping in the morning and the thrilling housekeeping afterwards, It's been quite nice; I spent a good few hours outdoors in the afternoon, and went to the theatre in the evening.

How are you doing? Feeling better? Any plans for tomorrow - besides working on your lists, that is. ;-)

Good evening.

Hopefully you're having a good time. =)
Does anyone know what's the matter with gunsynd?
He hasn't visited the thread for days and for my PM I got no reply :-(
But I saw him posting in a few other threads.

That sounds pleasant, glad to hear it.

Can't complain here, still healing up but doing better.
Nothing exciting planned for tomorrow, not really my thing so it's just another weekend.
(And yes, lists are pretty much always involved. -laughs-)

Not sure offhand. Had about a 12 hour stretch where I couldn't have kept up with the thread if my life depended on it between being sick and continually dozing off, but I didn't see anything that stood out glaringly.

adaliabooks: Have fun, hope you have a good time :)

Lol, in a good way or a bad way?
I find it much easier to play with the ASCII graphics on the smallest setting, but that's probably just because I'm used to that.
I haven't tried the ASCII graphics yet but i meant it a good way ;). Unfamiliar but interesting. Will play more of it.
