LaPtiteBete: Ho... thank you for your big random hug :">
**Big random tight hug back**...
yes, he would like to learn to play the violin ; but it's so hard... and since he isn't very constant and regular in his learning... I fear it will be too hard for now... (maybe later ?.... when he grows up a little...)
(awesome, about your personal piano lessons !! :D)
Yes, that's what I thought, about your Monday off :-\ ... that's great that you allow your brothers to have some free days ; I hope they occasionally return the favor !
Tango and waltz... wow !!! ô__ô
*Big return random tight hug* The violin is indeed difficult, but also very beautiful. My partner started learning hers when she was very little and she always makes me so proud when I hear how well she plays. I know it's not the same, but have you thought about lessons on YouTube or other free online lessons or books? It's not the same, but it could help while he is not able to go to classes all the time, and it might be fun for him to do as he is interested in the violin. I would not worry about his age, in fact it's often said that it's easier to learn instruments at a younger age. The important thing is practicing and then practicing again some more. Do you think you would like your younger Owlet to learn to play an instrument when she is older? Can you play any instruments? I can't, just a bit of piano so far, but I'm enjoying it, even if I don't have a lot of time to practice it lately.
My brothers often offer to give me the time off during holidays, but they have kids and I like them to spend as much quality time with them as they can. They all work so hard and already miss stuff, so I want them to have all the time they can with their families. They do let me have Sundays off every week, while they are always switching which day they get off to make it fair on them. But they are kind enough to let me have a set day a week off to spend with my partner and make some plans for things for us to do together, so it's only fair I help them when it's a big holiday.
I'm a bit rusty with the tango and waltz, and I don't think we will be do any overly fancy moves, but it is fun and we enjoy dancing together, so it's worth me looking like I have two left feet. :-)
