Great to hear that you spent a good night "having fun with your partner" (I won't ask for details ;-p) and that your Mom is back by your side, doing alright and recovering well... :-)
So at work but not working, sounds like fun. :-)

Do you have anything planned for the weekend? How is the Owlet doing?

My night was indeed great, we had a nice meal, some lovely dancing, and we were able to have a late night together as my partner was not at work today. I just wish I could have stayed in bed cuddled up with her this morning rather than be stuck out in the rain. Luckily I will get to see her in a few hours, which I'm looking forward to.

We're seeing them in May and June, possibly more if they do some more secret club gigs like they did last year.
There's nothing quite like seeing a band or singer you love live :)
Was it a big concert? Or just a small intimate one?
Can't say I've heard of him before so I don't know how big he is.

I just loaded up Alien Shooter 1. Was thinking to myself, "Well, this'll be like a fast punch to the crotch. It'll hurt for a bit, but it'll be over quickly."

And then it crashes to desktop in less than 20 seconds.

It crashed before I even got to the first enemy.

Who did the developers of the Alien/Zombie Shooter games blow to get their games on GOG? I'm truly curious right now.

Yes, well, I will probably regret it a bit later, because I have a lot of stuff to do :-\
The weekend... So... My big owlet has an appointment to his psychologist tomorrow morning (no sleeping in... ;-|)... then he has a music lesson... in the evening we'll go to the restaurant with both parents (mine, and the tiniest owlet dad's ones)... Sunday, we have a family meal (his side...) which should last all afternoon + early evening... >__<... for Easter and a cousin's birthday... Monday, nothing planned so far ! :)

What about you ?...

(The owlete is rather fine, thanks... but she has a bronchiolitis with asthma, which is always sh*tty because it's always a fight to give her her treatment... ):-|)

That sounds like a busy weekend. I hope everything goes okay and you have a nice time. What instrument is your big Owlet learning to play? What kind of restaurant are you going to? So I take it you have Monday off work? That sounds nice, hopefully you can have a nice relaxing day to enjoy yourself.

I work Mondays-Saturdays, so I get to sleep in on Sunday mornings. I'm looking forward to the end of the month when we go to the ball, as it will be a long weekend, so I will have Friday-Monday free to spend as a romantic weekend getaway with my partner and have a (hopefully) fun time at the ball dancing in my pretty new dress.
