superstande: Heya! Thinking of again to shop a game to my wife. Hardest things there are.

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Okay, what does she like? What does she enjoy?
whoops your replies are such ninjas that I am not expecting them so soon :P
And also had to do some good old work ehm...
My wife digs Rayman Legends and Origins, Super Mario World.
Kinda into puzzles and platformers at the moment.
And they better not be too serious, all kind of cuteness is good.
Penguins for some reasons (if they are cute) are also worth a lot in gold :)
I was kinda thinking Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams, but there's that dark twisted thing that made me wonder...

...And a very late late Good Morning to you, too :)

Stuff coming to mind right off the bat -

Freedom Planet - 16-bit graphics, kinda cutesy since it looks like a big homage to Sonic games, but from what I heard from another thread person, the difficulty does increase so it's not a dull cakewalk.

Escape Goat 1 and 2 - Puzzle-platformers, gradual difficulty increases, minimal graphics on 1, upgraded graphics that look like they could be from a shinier Super Nintendo game for 2, and if she likes it, there's an extra difficulty level on 1 that's 36 levels of torture.
Also, you're playing a jumping goat who's friends with a mouse and uses it to solve puzzles. That might be cute to some people.

Can't think of any GOG games with penguins in them, though.
Okay I don't spend much time in here and when I do I'm rude and offensive. Allow me to make amends with this little tidbit I just picked up from the Web. The dorks of us will dance for this, no one else will care. :P

Casey Jones will be in the next TMNT movie! :D

Hmm... Penguins. Super Tux comes into my mind - which is a free platformer: http://supertux.lethargik.org/
But i'm not sure if it's still in development....

ElTerprise: Sorry couldn't answer earlier. Got myself something to eat ;).

Never heard of Asaf Avidan actually. I'll look him up. Apart from Rap i'm pretty open to all kinds of music.
Recently i mostly listened to Tom Waits, The Heavy and to a lesser extent Django Reinhardt and Verdi (especially Nabucco)
I understand... I did the same here :D ... Did you enjoy your meal ?
You've got quite eclectic tastes ; like me. (I don't know The Heavy !)

-laughs- You're rude and offensive in a fun way. That changes the whole dynamic.

Damn it...I know who Casey Jones is, I stood in line to watch the original TMNT live-action movie however many decades ago, and Casey Jones was in that, and it was good, (Then Casey Jones ended up being in a movie where he has sex with James Spader, and I think I just came up with one of the most deranged double features ever, but I digress) but from everything I've seen and heard about the new TMNT, it wasn't very good.
What did you think of it?

I'm 50 miles from a theater so I haven't seen it. I only make that trek for very special movies, like Episode VII which good or bad I will probably be camping out for. I just hope it doesn't come out in the winter or I'll be forced to build a damn igloo in front the of the theater. :P

Yeah that was loved to death by my wife :)
Great game. But I think neither of us can stand it anymore :) The music, the hardest levels... The rage, the love.

Wow...you sound like me. 15 miles to the crappy local one, or 60 to a modern one. I can see why you don't head out that much.

-laughs- An igloo on the sidewalk...ice fishing in the parking lot...it'll be great!
