Just to make it clear I didn't throw myself into poverty over this: I had preordered the game already but had buy a new graphics card which came with the code. I could have canceled my preorder and use the code, but actually I preordered in the first place to support CDPR so that would kind of a lame move. And DD had no small part in finding the right candidate for the code also, so please thank her too.

It seems that when ever I see a male doctor (don't mean to be sexist) something like this happens. Just back luck, I guess. I made it clear it was his fault, and after a while he accepted that and apologised. I will never understand what it is that makes doctors so arrogant.

How are you tonight? Sorry I was not online more earlier to find a way to cheer your day up like I said I would, things just kept cropping up today.

I am doing good, I have had a reaction to the painkillers (due to the doctor giving me the wrong ones), so now I have a big headache and I am feeling light headed, but other than that I had a nice evening. My mum is doing well, fingers crossed she will be home by weekend. She will still need lots of recuperation time, but at least we will have her home.

My partner is doing fine, we have been invited to a big fancy party with some of her friends from where she used to live in Southern England. She is really looking forward to it, especially as there will be dancing, and she loves dancing. I am just looking online at some dresses for the occasion. I have a friend who is a wonderful seamstress, so if I get a picture of a dress I like, she will make one similar for my and that way I know it will fit perfectly.

I have seen a nice black silk one that I like, but I have not decided yet. I can't decide to go for it in black, or a nice red.
