GhostwriterDoF: Eh, attire? It would be silly to wear clothes when you are saturated with pancake syrup whilst rolling around in the leaves. :P

Like Adam then, exactly what I expected to hear. Wonder if Endre's neighbours will be ok with it... ;-P

Yes, just stuff collected over my first and second lives I’ve managed to hang onto. I actually have a few more guitars and basses but I hardly play them anymore, though I have been picking them up a bit recently.

[...]
Why don't you play anymore, if I may ask?

GhostwriterDoF: [...]

I have a lot of swords and other ancient weapons from different cultures and eras that I used to train with (not so much anymore because of health issues, but I can still use most them to exercise with once in awhile if I take it easy). I even have some primitive stone and wood weapons/tools I’ve made as well. ;)
That's a pretty impressive collection; good thing you're a ghost, I guess? ;-)

Sorry about the health issues, you sound like you miss it.

And a good evening/ afternoon to everyone, hope you all had a good day.
avatar
CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

GhostwriterDoF: Howdy Crow!
Good evening. =)

How've you been doing today?

Okay, got caught up, glad to hear that everything went well with the doctor. That's always a plus.

moonshineshadow: *happy hugs for everyone that wants one*
I just found out that amazon.de introduced the family library at the beginning of the year. Before books could not be shared or lend to other kindle users because of some law stuff.
But now with the family library I can share all my books with my mum and reverse :D
So now my available books increased by a lot *yeah* And the good thing for my mum is that she now does not need to buy many books for my dad since he can read all my books :-)
avatar
CarrionCrow: Wouldn't have expected Amazon to do that. Good for them. They make so much money, it's nice to see them let their paying customers have some more freedom with what they purchase.
Yep. Really happy at the moment. It always annoyed me that I could not share ebooks with my family like real books :-)

LaPtiteBete: Sandstorms ? Ô__Ô good grief... where do you live ?
avatar
toxicTom: Question seconded :-) Wild guess, Arizona?
Thankfully, no. That state is even hotter than this one, pretty sure I wouldn't be able to handle it.
avatar
GhostwriterDoF: No stress, all is well here. I even hugged my doctor today, since I was in the mood after posting in
this Thread this morning. heh ... and the news from my regular preventative tests was good.
Did you ruffle the doctor's hair? ;-)
Good to hear about your tests!

AgentBirdnest: *Stealthily comes in from the left flank, pouncing you with a ninja-hug*

Good evening, Owl :-)
Has the wind calmed down?

LaPtiteBete: HAAAAAA !!! '',',',,',,',,, 8-O ... Are you mad... !! I could have knocked you out...(DD-style !!! ^^)
**Big crushing non-ninja-hug back**
How are you doing, Agent ?
Has your headache totally gone ?
Hehehe... Yeah, I'm a little mad >:-D
I'm doing well. The headache is -totally- gone. Thanks for asking :-)
And how are you? You didn't answer my question about the weather :-p

CarrionCrow: It was noticeable that you were running yourself ragged trying to keep everything in good shape.
Hopefully that crap will go away so you can have full enjoyment of your off-time, you've certainly earned it.
Thanks, really.
I think I will be up again in no time. I need to get my sleeping habits sorted out. Waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep (sometimes for hours) is not good for my health on the long run...
But I think with the pressure falling off, I might manage to tackle this. Today - my first free day since New Year - I still had trouble "getting into the mood", still feeling driven. That's why I spent the morning meditating instead of gaming or doing something creative. Need to calm down first.

Hey Hyper :-)

I still wanted to thank you that pic of the attacking kitten recently. I really cheered me up but I had no time to reply. :-)

CarrionCrow: I live in a tiny place that's full of dust and casinos, where you might as well get used to being antisocial if you don't like to drink and gamble all the time.
The big one thing that's happening is that by the end of the year, there will actually be a movie theater here that isn't from the 1950's. -laughs-
Sounds like a location from Fallout: New Vegas... Watch out for Caesar's Legion :-p

I wouldn't say it's rage inducing, not if you just accept that dying is part of the experience... it can get annoying when a character who's turning out quite well dies, but that's life (or not, as the case may be).

Caesar's Legion...what a letdown...

I still remember...taking my small guns-focused character into the enemy camp, expecting some massive confrontation, I packed all my best guns so I had 6 or 7 of them on me, something like 200 stimpacks, and I splattered each and every person in there like it was nothing.

They might as well have tried to fight me off with fluffy pillows and harsh glares.

Also, just as an aside regarding that game? Quests means nothing in the end. I did an entire run of that game treating it like a Diablo clone. I bought nothing, I stole everything, I conversed with no one and I killed every single person who could permanently die like a walking scourge.
Still ended up with my levels maxed out.
Good evening, everyone! *big hugs and silly waves*

Did I miss anything while I was away? I hope you are all having a nice evening?

You're welcome, and you're right, the sleep problem thing will eventually nail you healthwise, especially with how active you are. Eventually you'll be running on fumes for too long.

One of the roommates here is the same way. They have to deal with deadlines and schedules and crap for their job, so it takes them a while to get their mind out of the scenario of having to push-push-push all the time and shift into feeling like it's okay to relax.
