CarrionCrow: You're doing better than me, the sheer variety of stuff in Total Annihilation is downright daunting. For me that's a game that'll need a clear plate so I can focus on it and learn everything.
adaliabooks: As far as I remember, it's worth it. It's a great game. I won Supreme Commander in a giveaway (spiritual follow up) but it hasn't grabbed me the way TA did. It's on my list to get at some point (but please don't gift me it anyone, I have no time for a massive RTS at the moment) and see if it's as good as I remember it.
Evening all, just had delicious home made fish and chips, haven't done that in ages (deep frying stuff without the proper equipment is a pain, but worth it on occasion).
And a glass of a quite nice (for cheap) wine from our German friends :)
I don't really deal much with Doctors thankfully, but I've got quite a good dentist, and an excellent vet where we are. So when we do eventually move it'll either mean commuting (if we don't move too far) or trying to find a half decent one of both, which in my experience is tough.
Note to self - Make sure to
not gift Adalia Total Annihilation in the near future. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)
Agree with you there, doing stuff like that and frying it properly makes all the difference.
You can put it all in an oven, but it doesn't come out the same at all. The flavor's not as good, the texture and color's not right.
Yeah, it's never easy finding someone in anything medical-related, whether it's for humans or animals.
Thankfully there's a great vet office in town. With dentists, I don't mind so much that the nearest one's an hour away.
Push comes to shove, you can scream like a lunatic going down the road to take your mind off your face rotting, but you don't want to put an animal through that kind of shit if they're hurting.
