Mrs Butterworths syrup and lots of butter. :)

This, with some powdered sugar on top (just to make sure I don't live too long.)

I also love peanut butter on my waffles. Unfortunately, it often makes me stop breathing. An extra large glass of milk is required.

Waffles are brilliant. You don't get them over here very often but they are becoming more popular.

I once stayed in a hotel where the included breakfast buffet had a waffle iron where you could make your own waffles. It was amazing, one of the best hotel breakfasts ever. Plus I'd just seen the Foo Fighters the day before, so that was great ;)

I feel like getting fat just in reading your posts...
I love waffles too (just eaten some home made ones yesterday !)... with melted chocolate and whipped cream on it. There. *Sigh* Now I'm hungry...

Believe it or not, peanut butter is also really good on hot dogs. A friend of my father's mentioned it one time when I was a kid. It sounded so utterly bizarre that I had to try it, thinking it would be horrid. To my shock, it was really, really good.

We're not used to eat much peanut butter here in France ... though it seems to be one of the most appreciated meal for you American folks ! is it that good ??

I'm actually just ambivalent about it. Most peanut butter here in NA is filled with icing sugar, so it's really sweet. I don't like that. We buy the all natural 'just peanuts' peanut butter. It's as described: the only ingredient is peanuts. I find that much more palatable. But I don't eat it very often. I mostly use it to make my homemade Asian style peanut sauce.

Home made waffles are the best, I make some every two weeks :D Best with either just powdered sugar or chocolate icecream ;-)

Yes, it is that good. No, it is better than good - it is incredible.
Works on everything - waffles, hot dogs, ice cream... I'll think of more later.

It is the best food on the planet. I go through one or two jars a week.

Gross but true story. My sister's dog is allergic to peanut butter (thankfully she just swells up, it's almost cute and funny but only because she has never ever had issues with breathing). During her "puppy years" she would occasionally be given some of the "typical" peanut butter and was fine. It was only later when she was given all natural real peanut butter that she showed (severe mind you!) symptoms.

The point - that gross garbage oil, sugar and processed stuff is so devoid of actual peanuts it wouldn't trigger her allergies.

Well no, but the garbage oil and processed stuff might. :P

lol - sad, but likely true.
One of the things I like about peanut butter is that it doesn't taste like peanuts :-)
You guys had me curious so I checked 3 different jars of Peanut Butter I have on the shelf.
The primary ingredient is Peanuts in all 3 (different inexpensive brands). Yes they have added oil and sugar but are mostly peanuts. I've never had any that I would consider very sweet. Must be way different in other countries.
I really don't like the 'all natural' because it's very dry and quite expensive. :-)
