Hey everyone. Most bizarre day (weather wise) here... alternating between glorious sunshine and blizzard like hailstones... about five times so far... :/

Was supposed to be making dough today in preparation for working on Thursday and at the weekend, but we went to the wholesalers and my partner had a dentist appointment and now it's too late and I'm far too tired, so it will wait till tomorrow.

On the plus side it means more time here and gaming ;)

Good evening. ...phew...what a day but i do have a grade for may bachelor's degree now...i only need one certificate now and then i can continue into my master's programme....

Dealing with university administration is tough...but i'm close to finish now.....:).

I'm great now but it my nearly a complete day to get there :).

I decided on the hero edition. Was going back and forth between that and the champion, but I almost never listen to game soundtracks, and that's the primary item that they're charging an extra 15 dollars for with the upgrade.
I'll save the money and grab different games with it instead.

Hmm. Didn't ever see anything about a controversy, but then I wasn't paying huge attention as the game's development went along. Was trying to put it to the side until it was actually ready to play.
Well, I take care of my numbers, and if a roommate needs fast math done, I do that too. -laughs-
Upshot of having what feels like one of those cheap calculators you only do basic stuff on, only it's in my head.

Going to be a bit rough if someone needs a heavy item picked up since my back kinda feels like someone hit me with a bat repeatedly, but otherwise I'm okay.

As a bonus, Soccorro was extremely generous and gifted me both Outlaws and Loom, so that was an unexpected surprise (at least for Loom, as soon as they saw I didn't have Outlaws, it was "Why don't you have that on your shelf, why's it on your list, you're getting it!" =)

I just saw that Act of War is the new release. So they finally fixed the game for modern systems. Yay! :)

Yes, it looks pretty good. I always like it when something from the past pops up out of the blue on GOG, something I didn't even know existed previously.

A little discombobulated here at the moment, doing catch up in a screwy order, but it's good to hear that you're making progress on finalizing your current phase of schooling.

I had quite a brutal headache for most of the morning. (I'm not sure, but I think it is allergy-related.)
Been feeling great for the last couple of hours, though :-) Trying (and failing) to win skirmishes in Total Annihilation. Such a massive amount of buildings and units... It is difficult to get used to, but I'm loving it! (Thanks to our Owl!)

Good to know, since that seems to be one of my talents in life. Can't sleep or think sometimes, but I can still talk. -laughs-

I don't know if there's a Walmart near you, but when crap starts flying here, I usually take one of their store brand allergy pills. It's a cheap carbon copy of some brand name item.
Just went to the bathroom to check the bottle, they're called Equate Allergy Relief, the chemical is loratadine 10 mg.
They work pretty well, and they're a 24 hour pill so you only have to take one a day.

You're doing better than me, the sheer variety of stuff in Total Annihilation is downright daunting. For me that's a game that'll need a clear plate so I can focus on it and learn everything.
