CarrionCrow: This is sad...I just ran through my entire list, and out of 157, there are 31 that I can call high priority right off the bat.
That's less than 20 percent, for shit's sake. -laughs-
avatar
ElTerprise: You have 157 games on your wishlist?
Yes, I do. I think that's the current number.
avatar
ddickinson: That's a shame. When does the week or two start? Is tonight your last night on here for a while or do you have a few days before you have to go offline for a while?

It can't be good for GOG. There was a big fuss when the games appeared here, then this. If it was me I would be annoyed that the publishers did that, treating my customers so poorly while treating Steam users all nice. But as Endre said, that is how the gaming industry works these days. Steam is the largest store by a long shot, so it makes sound business sense to favour them over other smaller competitors.

Good morning! :-)

What is causing you not to sleep? Do you normally not sleep very well? (That seems to be a common thing among the people of the thread.)
It starts on wednesday. ANyway, off to bed. Night night.

That's going to suck, sorry you have to be disconnected for so long.

Have a good night, sleep well.

Wow. That's impressive. I counted the games (including DLC) on my list: I have 33 (about 10 on high priority)

You and El have way better percentages than I do. -laughs-

I just keep telling myself that the list has everything on it. Anything that caused even the slightest amount of interest, I put there.
So once it's clear, there's no going back to the catalog to dig around. It's done.

That's a good way to go, mine changes with my mood.
Took a bunch off a few days ago and added 2 more today. :-)

I think i only had some changes to it because i sometimes just games on the list to keep them in mind.

Anyway. I think i'll go to bed now. It's 2:30 am here. See you all tomorrow :).

A whole two more...wow. You're halfway to hoarding doing stuff like that.

I like that it's a full rundown. If a new release shows up that's good, it gets added, but the core of it, the stuff that's been on that thing for over a year now, that stuff doesn't change until it's gone.

*waves at everyone* I can't keep up with this thread at all, so I'm not going to quote anyone, but I wanted to let those of you who caught my posts this morning that we did indeed resolve the ticket situation. The hour-long (!!!) phone call to Greyhound's customer support this morning was something like 85-90% on hold, but I spoke with a nice supervisor who let me vent, and I'm proud of myself for remaining calm and coherent throughout. By the time I get to a supervisor, I'm usually too irate to do so, even though I know better. (I used to work in phone sales/customer service, and I was lead of a department for a couple of years, so I get the situation from all sides.)

It took about a minute and a half for the local ticket office to fix the ticket up and transfer it over to tonight, so I'll be taking off in about half an hour to take the roommate back to the station and wait with him for the bus to see him off.

After that, I'm going to go poke at PoE again. So far, I'm trying to take it slow because I don't want to get stuck/frustrated/bored or obsessed with it. I have a problem with getting really far into games and then never quite finishing them because of those feelings and I'd really like to finish this one. :)

That is pleasantly surprising, to say the least.
Good for you, I've seen so many people pitch an absolute fit after getting ripped off/screwed with by Greyhound it's not even funny. Happy to hear that it's been resolved in your favor. =)

Yeah, it can be tricky. You build up so much energy getting excited for something that sometimes it's like that energy eventually fizzles and you end up doing something else.
Going to need to remember your comments and not screw up the experience when I get ahold of it.

Congrats on getting that situation resolved, Penumbren :)

zenwan: Wow, oh wow.

I just won Sinistar's Nordic giveaway,, and it was such a generous one too. I normally never win anything, so I'm quite overcome.

ElTerprise: Wow, Congrats!!!! :D
Thank you very much! And +1 for your kindness to the little blob. :-)

toxicTom: Congrats! That is a pretty awesome win. I was tempted to join in myself, but I got so many gifts lately and my backlog is full as it is... I would have felt bad if I had won it.

CarrionCrow: Have a good night, enjoy the downtime. =)

toxicTom:
Thank you so much Tom, I appreciate your post.

I get the feeling I shouldn't have posted about this here, sorry if I did the wrong thing. I'm never sure about the rules, being a newbie - but thankyou and +1 to you and ElTerprise for your kindness. :-)

Editing out my reply to penumbren, this post was getting way too long. I'll repost in a while, when GOG will allow me to keep it separate.

Good morning / evening to those who are around. I'll be off soon, it's getting rather late for me. Since we changed time, the dark mornings are confusing me.

Good morning. =)

You don't have to worry about not posting things like winning a giveaway. Some people enter and are fortunate enough to win. That's not a thing you have to hide.

How are you doing today?
