ddickinson: Hello!

Did you enjoy the cricket match over the weekend?

l0rdtr3k: Because of my house will go through some repairs,I won't be able to be here for a while.
avatar
ddickinson: Sorry to hear that. How long do you think you will be away? We will miss you, the place would not be the same without the resident hugger.
Yes,very good.....Bad luck NZ.....
Can't sleep. :/ nice to see, there is some company around here :)

ElTerprise: Thanks for the link to the thread. I did a quick calculation and the Anthology is 9,99€ on Steam and all Cinemaware games in the Promo are 5,49€ at full price each. That's actually not acceptable. I think i'll wait for some developments on this case.
Look at it this way, on steam I can get 12 games for £7.99 (€9.99) at full price. If all 12 games were available on GOG, those same games at full price on GOG would cost me £49.80 (€65.88). Seems a bit much just to have them DRM free. But of course, only a fraction of those games are currently available on GOG anyway.

Just a week or two.

That's a shame. When does the week or two start? Is tonight your last night on here for a while or do you have a few days before you have to go offline for a while?

It can't be good for GOG. There was a big fuss when the games appeared here, then this. If it was me I would be annoyed that the publishers did that, treating my customers so poorly while treating Steam users all nice. But as Endre said, that is how the gaming industry works these days. Steam is the largest store by a long shot, so it makes sound business sense to favour them over other smaller competitors.

Good morning! :-)

What is causing you not to sleep? Do you normally not sleep very well? (That seems to be a common thing among the people of the thread.)

EndreWhiteMane: Crow, what do you think of Gurumin?
You're one of our resident kawaii RPG experts, does it look interesting/good to you?
avatar
ElTerprise: I didn't know that...that's a shameful behaviour....
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Shameful behavior=The games industry=At least it's DRM free here. ;)
Looks like it might be interesting, but I'm going to wait until I can see a gameplay video.
I'm not into syrupy sweetness-level games. They're just obnoxious to me.
Well I had better get some sleep, I did not realise how late it was getting here.

Goodnight, everyone! I hope you all have a pleasant evening and a very good nights sleep!

*Goodnight hugs and silly waves*

It's unfortunate that the industry works that way and that Steam is in fact more or less a monopolist in pc games market. But it's worse that so many gamers don't care about it.Business wise it definitely makes sense for them (it's similar to platform exclusives) but then they should have been honest about it in the first place *sigh*.

This is sad...I just ran through my entire list, and out of 157, there are 31 that I can call high priority right off the bat.
That's less than 20 percent, for shit's sake. -laughs-

You have 157 games on your wishlist? I assume you were talking about this list, right?
