EndreWhiteMane: OK, found my DOS copy. I'll get it running until I can afford to get it here.
The manual alone is a bit scary to me. :-)

Surly, yes. That's why you love me. ;)

CarrionCrow: Patience...;)
The game or DD? :-)

ElTerprise: I'm thinking of getting some games (i.e. Bad Mojo Redux) from the weekend promo before it's over. Can anybody recommend the Cinemaware games?

CarrionCrow: Blanket response incoming -

Well, they look good. So why not.
I thought the same. That's why i was asking....;)

Because they screwed over GOG customers by selling a collection of games on Steam for the price of two or so games on here. Not a very nice thing to do. And no, I don't buy their "we don't know how that happened and we promise to make it up to you" rubbish. :-)

I own Wings Remastered and it's awesome. Bet the Amiga version is just as good.
At $1.49 it's a steal.

I don't buy it either, it would have happened by now.
But, that crap is going to happen till the end of time, and really no reason to miss out on good games.
If you are going to give them money now's the time when they'll make very little at these prices.

I know, I meant my comment to be more playful than serious. I personally won't be giving a underhanded company like that any money (just like I won't give money to games that use DRM), but I know that kind of thing is common place now. And as you said, they are likely good games and if people want to get them while on sale then why not.

I didn't know that...that's a shameful behaviour....
Crow, what do you think of Gurumin?
You're one of our resident kawaii RPG experts, does it look interesting/good to you?

Please do not let my comment deter you, if you like the games then please get them and enjoy them.

Here is the link to the thread about it all.

It was something like a dozen games for the price of two of the games on here. There were some excuses about it all and promising to make it up to people on GOG, but there has been no new development on that for a while now (as far as I know, I have not been keeping up to date with it all). I don't see how they can make it up to customers on here, not when it is cheaper for me to buy a dozen games on Steam then it is to buy two of the games here on GOG.

(For me, the games here at full price are £4.09 each, on Steam they are about £8 for the anthology.)

Edit: Shutting up about the subject now. Feeling a little guilty for putting ElTerprise off from getting some of the games.

ddickinson: Hello, Gunny!

We have another Australian game coming to GOG soon. Armello, one of the games under the coming soon tab appears to be an Australian made game.

EndreWhiteMane: Makes me feel sophisticated, though a bit pompous. :-)

Thanks for the link to the thread. I did a quick calculation and the Anthology is 9,99€ on Steam and all Cinemaware games in the Promo are 5,49€ at full price each. That's actually not acceptable. I think i'll wait for some developments on this case.

Sorry to hear that. How long do you think you will be away? We will miss you, the place would not be the same without the resident hugger.
