CarrionCrow: Hey, everyone. =)

So nice to get errands done quickly for once. (Especially since it's frigging warm and painfully bright outside.)
Hello, Crow! *wave and/or a hug*

I hope you are doing well this evening?

toxicTom: Exactly my observation. With quality food people will live more healthy because a) it has less fat and sugar to complement lacking taste and b) people are more satisfied with it and eat less.
Bad food tempts you to stuff yourself because you wait for that feeling of satisfaction to kick in. I've been to "stars" restaurants multiple times, and although the portions are tiny, you feel very comfortable afterwards because the tastes are so intense and complex that the craving for more is immediately stopped although it is extremely delicious.

adaliabooks: Couldn't agree more.
The hotel we go to in the Lakes isn't Michelin starred or anything, but it serves really good top quality food. The portions are small, but because everything is so delicious you enjoy it and savour it more, and eat slower so you end up feeling just as full.
People need to stop worrying about dieting, or cutting out fat or carbohydrates, and just learn how to make food properly from scratch. It's healthier and more satisfying.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Nice talking to you :)

See you all tomorrow.
Have a good night, sleep well. =)

ElTerprise: Hello.
I would be happy if it would be a bit warmer where i ilve....
avatar
CarrionCrow: I'll trade you happily, believe me.

Also, if you can make that happen, I'll keep the insanely high pollen levels here so you can actually breathe while enjoying the warmth.
That sound like a deal ^^ (Interesting i didn't know thats it's called pollen in english too).

Worrying about dieting, or cutting out fat or carbohydrates? Now why would I do that, have you seen how farmers eat? :-) You can't beat a full English breakfast or a good hearty meal. True it's like fuel for us and our work and we burn it off quite easily, but do you think all these people living to be a hundred worried about eating healthy? They ate lots of fatty and unhealthy foods, the difference was it was fresh and natural, not full of chemicals and artificial stuff.

Goodnight, sleep well!

Hey, D. =)

Can't complain here.
Slept for crap, which tells me I'm sleeping way too much, so I'll be working on getting myself back to a proper level of tiredness.
Went out, did some errands, enjoyed all the sun and the light and the people (total, total bullshit....I get annoyed with all three things very quickly and have to run to avoid them before I start screaming), came back, and I've been enjoying my diet soda along with my very much non-diet blackberry crumble ice cream.
Have some housework to do, but thankfully I move very quickly when I want stuff done, so that won't take long.

How's your day been?

Hmm. I didn't know pollen was a totally identical word in German. Yay for actually learning stuff.

My day has been very nice, thank you. I had a productive day at work and a very pleasant evening. Now I am just relaxing and getting some paperwork finished while enjoying the open fire, some music, and chatting on the forum. My sleep seems to be back to normal now, which is great. Not really sure what fixed it, maybe the good sleep I had a the weekend before last, but either way I am glad it is sorted. I hated working while I was so tired.

Hello!

How is your evening? (What time is it in your corner of the world?)

Seconded!
Look at those 140y+ Japanese people. The eat rice (carbohydrates) and fish (not as low fat as most people think). And algea and stuff...

No I think our (exclusive we, DD ;-)) unhealthy lifestyle stems from lack of workout and fresh air (office slaves) and bad food at lunch break that is saturated with appetisers and artificial flavour enhancers (that are declared as "natural", like yeast extract).

Good news all the way around then, particularly with the sleep getting back to normal.
I can imagine how much not fun at all it was working on a farm all day on an hour's sleep, if that.

Apparently pollen is a latin word - so we stole it as well ;).
