ddickinson: Good day, everyone!

No point asking how you all are, as adaliabooks beat me to it. :-)

But I can offer some *hugs*.

avatar
adaliabooks: Haven't followed the thread too closely for a day or two, have I missed anything interesting?
avatar
ddickinson: You mean you missed all the alcohol and strippers? That's a shame, sadly Hyper took it all home with him, the booze and the strippers. So there is none left now. ;-)
Don't worry. I have 12 joints of weed, 11 peyote cacti, 10 sunshine blotters, 9 bottles of DXM, 8 pills of ecstacy, 7 DMT crystals, 6 hookahs of opium, 5 salt shakers full of cocaine, 4 cases of alcohol, 3 mushroom teas, 2 bags of Xanax and the recipe for methamphetamine.

And a stripper in a cake.
Guys,I think I've developed a addiction to shmups.
I started with Ikaruga, moved to Touhou started playing Gradius,R-Type,Life Force even Zero Wing.
I'm afraid that later I'll start going to eXceed,Parodius and worst of all: Cho Aniki

adaliabooks: That's fine, I've got more than enough alcohol here and I'm in a committed relationship so don't need / want strippers :P
That's a very lovely answer. I think the strippers were mainly for the old guys. You know how it is, we have to get them something nice from time to time. :-)

AgentBirdnest: I'm not really a coffee guy. Caffeine doesn't do anything for me, and I prefer the taste of a cup of hot chocolate.
I have a nice warm cup of hot chocolate with me right now. I don't have it too strong though, just a nice amount to give it that lovely chocolate taste.

I'm glad to hear you are doing well today, Agent. How are things with your father, if you don't mind me asking?

CarrionCrow: I was following what you said with interest until you mentioned Van Damme not being an actor.
I defy you to look at this and consider his acting to be anything less than masterful. =)
That just made me forgive him for all the other dreadful shit he's done. :)

Thanks for the hugs !!! **HUG back !!**
Well, I'm fine, tired and a bit fuzzy, but happy nevertheless.
Still no news about your parents ? Do you know when they can get back home ?...

I did get some news. My father might be coming home in a day or two, depending on his condition improving, but sadly my mother had to be moved to the intensive care unit, so I'm not holding out much hope that she will be home before the New Year, or even the next few weeks.

AgentBirdnest: Hugzitrin™. It is a hug in a concentrated pill form. Very relaxing.
I'm not really a coffee guy. Caffeine doesn't do anything for me, and I prefer the taste of a cup of hot chocolate.
So... It's YOU who put your drugs in my coffee ?! Õ__Õ
I've never considered pills as a possible form of hugs... ^__^

Happy and sad news, sorry to hear about your mum, what condition does she have that makes her so ill? :-(

Aaaw :-( that's sad for your mum... I hope she'll recover fast... did they tell you why she fainted ?

EndreWhiteMane: Happy and sad news, sorry to hear about your mum, what condition does she have that makes her so ill? :-(
That's a long and complicated story. It's nothing specific, it's the result of a long illness and some mistakes surgeons made while she was ill. This has made her have a very low immune system and just general low health. It has also effected her emotionally and unfortunately seems to be taking its toll on her mind. I have asked the doctors if there is a bigger reason, maybe something that is causing it, but sadly none of the tests or bloods have come back with anything. So we are not completely sure.

Nope. Sadly this is not something new, unfortunately she is ill like this quote often. They never seem to know what the problem is. As I said above, they think it is an mixture of things.

Sounds lovely :-)
My dad is home, and seems to be doing fine physically. He seems a little more confused than usual. A few minutes ago, he looked at my computer screen and asked me what video game this is (I was only typing a message.)
His mind has been fading away for several years, and it has been fading much more rapidly over the last few months.

Good to hear your father is improving. Sorry about your mother. I'm hoping the best for both of them, and you too.
*chocolate hugs*
