Soccorro: Morning Everyone!

Just had some Carnage for breakfast :D
avatar
j0ekerr: What game is that?

avatar
CarrionCrow: Really glad that my god isn't generic-looking anime girl. If I'm going that route, I'll dig around and find a better female. -laughs-
avatar
j0ekerr: DOUBLE BLASPHEMY BURN THE UNBELIEVER!

Some background info on TL:DR form on our goddess Haruhi.

1: She's not generic, to be generic she'd have to have blue hair and her breasts would have to be three times as big.
2: She's actually omnitpotent, except she doesn't know it. So she techincally qualifies as god.
3: Most important of all, my God has some utterly delectable doujins dedicated to her. Any doujins dedicated to yours would be of the eye gouging variety.
avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Next fall on the Food Network, it's Battlefield Kitchen. Watch as contestants cook fabulous meals while being shot at with real bullets, pelted with shrapnel and occasionally doused in napalm!

Sorry...that's what came to mind. -laughs-
avatar
j0ekerr: I'd watch that!
No, no, no. I might be all kinds of screwed up, but I'm not going the furry route. Was thinking that I'd go with an actual female if I'm shooting for godlike figures.

Yeah, so would I. Stopped watching that channel because of all the godsdamned contest shows they put on, but I'd tune in for that one.

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

You don't ever have to feel badly about recommending something and me finding something to bitch about with it.
As luck would have it, I'm kinda good at that. -laughs-

I'm getting enough of a FF Tactics vibe from it all that it's making me happy on that level, so it's fine.

Granted, I'm still on the basic classes, and I keep having the urge to scream "I have the power!" when they hold up a new asterisk like they're He-Man invoking the power of Greyskull, and I kinda keep screaming for characters to shut the fuck up when they start going into their third or fourth jag of talking at length, and I've started calling crystal girl Onions to the point that I refer to her as that as I sit here mocking the dialogue in general, but it's enjoyable enough.

That's a chunk of how my night's going. How're you doing today?
Lol.
The over all story is ok, but the actual dialogue and specific details are quite poor...
Getting new Asterisks is brilliant :)
The job system is certainly FF Tactics like, though I prefer Tactics (The GBA and DS games are two of my favourite games).

A bit tired, but otherwise fine. Not really up to much yet.
Hello everybody. Yes! Mission accomplished. Dual-Boot live and running! :D

adaliabooks: I was sure there was an unofficial one somewhere... let me see if I can dig it up for you :)

Edit: Here it is, not sure if it's still working / supported or what though:

Good day, everyone, hope you're all doing well.

We finally have some sun, a cold northern wind, that's still going strong, brought it our way. I'm sorry to see that it's raining for tour friends in the north that were enjoying the sun during the week; hope it's not a side-effect of our weather improving a bit.

Now I have to finish a couple of things so I can go and enjoy the sun down by the water.

Never got a chance to play those two Tactics. The one that always comes to mind for me is the original PS1 version.
If a game reminds me of that, it's headed in the right direction.

Never played the original, or the PSP sequel (I think that's what it is) though I would love to. Never owned a Playstation though, so it's unlikely.
Here's hoping Square one day release all their old games on PC...

Moronic, stilted dialogue in a JRPG? I'm astounded!
Silly lines have become a cliche of the genre, to the point I think it wouldn't feel like a proper JRPG without them.

I blame the japanese language itself, it's inherently flawed.

If they have any sense left, they will at the very least, release FF1, 5, 6, 9 and 12 and Tactics for PC.
They would make money on every one of those, I'm sure.

Good afternoon. =)

A break from the seemingly endless rain and wind you had sounds like a welcome change.
Hopefully you'll have an enjoyable time getting some sun for a bit.

Except for their famously stubborn corporate mindset which I think is partly caused by japanese traits.
You can take a mule to water...

Although that might be a tad unkind, that unflexible stubbornnes pops up in any sufficiently large company, no matter where it's based.

Square however seems to take delight in trolling it's customer base. How long have been people clamoring for a FF7 HD remake?

Well, if all else fails, I have no doubt it'll all get a PC release when they're in real danger from going under after screwing up the series yet again.

CarrionCrow: The thought of having children is kinda nauseating to me. Having surgery is a small price to pay for preventing that potential problem.
That is your choice sir, but someone has to pay for your death and you'll be assessed death taxes, etc.something we need and both don't wish while we are alive, but when you are dead, you have no say (so all the rules can change)

Now I have to say this, there are three expensive things: birth, death and consumable goods. It seems you are trying to solve the first problem and the second, but when it comes to the third, well, you're just being selfish.

I'd rather be selfish than miserable. -laughs-

That's your choice, but not one I envy. Good luck when you need the help of others'.

So now that I've finished broken age, freedom planet and Indy 4, I refuse to re-install Dark Souls again. I have to quit that game, like Crow is quitting coffee.

Now taking suggestions on what game I should play next.
