ElTerprise: The 3 refers to the Shader not the graphic card power. Is Mo = Mb? Then it is 512 Mb.
Yes, I just realized my mistake... =__=
I think it's the same ? o is for "octet" ?
[edit] that's it. An "octet" is exactly 8 bits. A byte can be 8 bits too, but also 7 or 9, if I understood well.

Probably. I've never seen it before...

EndreWhiteMane: Where are you seeing that?

LaPtiteBete: Here :

LOL 512 Mo, my bad
I read the number of the card with it... hahaha... dumb me
The English page doesn't have that so I was REALLY confused! :-)

You mentioned 2048Mo before, if that's the case your machine should do a great job! :-)

Yes, 'byte' in French is 'octet'.
Now we both know. :-)

Since your 760M is in a laptop you may, or may not have 512mb of video RAM.
You will have the check the specs on the laptop to be sure.
In some laptops you can change this in the settings.
Does this make sense to you?

My 660M has 2048Mb RAM - the 760m should have atleast the same.

Interesting to know because in german byte is still byte. We don't have a translation of it.

Edit: FInally. The Ubuntu download finished....

Perfect, thank you. :-)
You think I picked it by chance? ;-)

Do tell, what happened that put you in such a perfect mood? Latest meds working fine? Pleasant dreams? New additions to your basement collection? Something entirely different?

Edit: I just started downloading Ubuntu and now my internet provider is punishing me for that. Damn youuuuuuuuuuu KD.

Hello. Quite good. How are you?
Quite good? Anything we can do to improve that? I'm ok, "recovering" from all the wine I had yesterday, and trying to stay warm. XD

Why is your ISP punishing you?

GhostwriterDoF: All is as well as can be expected here. :)
Though a bit of silliness is almost always welcome.

Tuesday was Starpoint Gemini DLC release, with 50% off the main game.

How's the world turning for you?

And good morning, evening and afternoon to everyone!
Hey Ghost, sounds like you could do with some improvement. Want me to ruffle your ghostly hair?

The world's turning cold and very wet for me; I think we're in for a second winter.

LaPtiteBete: Hi Hyper !!
How are you doing ? :)
Here, fine, thanks !!
What you missed ?... Good question.... (?)

Glad to hear that at least our Owl is doing fine. Same goes for the rest of the family, yes?

So, everyone's excited about the release of PoE?

And they say "telecharge" instead of "download" like the rest of the world. Strange people...

You're going to Run Pillars on Linux?? :-O
My hero! :-)

I'm curious about the first reviews. Also, knowing Obsidian, it's probably not wrong to wait for the first patches. And tbh, I just don't have the money right now, but lots and lots of games to play.

The Boxer put me in a good mood! :-)
Plus I decided to take a break from stress here for a bit before I get back to ugly RL stuff. ;)
I can neither run nor afford Pillars but I'll still be glad to see it here.

There are already some reviews:

http://www.pcgames.de/Pillars-of-Eternity-PC-256319/Tests/Test-mit-Video-D-und-D-RPG-ohne-D-und-D-1154548/ (german)

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-03-26-pillars-of-eternity-review

User reviews on GOG will obviously take some time ;).

My hero! :-)
My first step is to create a dual-boot system on my laptop. Why shouldn't i try running PoE on linux afterwards? But it may take some time. I'm an absolute newbie linux-wise :).

Tech question:
Does the amount of stuff on your harddrive effect how the system runs? I'm finally getting around to downloading the 1st Witcher game and when I finish my system is going to be 62 GB free of 465 GB. Will this totally screw with how the games I have on there run?

Rule of thumb is to leave AT LEAST 10% empty for temporary files and stuff.
You should be OK but it's about time for a clean up.
I was 97% full when I did mine, it still ran fine.
