That isn't just you. For me, it froze up everything. Blank white page, completely broken site.

Good morning, lovely Moonshine!

How are you today?

*big morning hug*
avatar
CarrionCrow: Thank you. =)

Between my aborted first run from something like a year ago, the restart, and doing a 100 percent run aside from that one bastard level that got spoiled for me so I don't count it because I didn't figure out how to beat it on my own?
95 hours.
avatar
ElTerprise: Is that a good time? I haven't played the game (and i don't know if i ever will :) ).

avatar
LaPtiteBete: I don't remember there is latin phrases in Tintin :"|
Is it Haddock in english too ?... :) on the other hand, Tintin is not "Tintin" in german, if I remember well...
avatar
ElTerprise: I see what you did there :).

Your memory is right. Tintin is called TIm in german.
No clue, honestly. I've never beaten it before and I was trying to avoid anything related to the game so nothing would get spoiled.

Doing ok here :-)

CarrionCrow: Can't complain too much here. Trying to decide whether to pick another bad game, another hard game, or actually dig into something else that might be fun for once.
I honestly don't have that many hard/awful games, but dear gods does it seem that way when I see how many of them still need to be cleared. -laughs-
avatar
ddickinson: Why not treat yourself and play a good game that you will enjoy. Or is that not sadistic enough for you. :-)

Which games are you thinking of playing?
Not quite sure yet. Might start something else to go with Grimrock, but I'll need to look and see what feels appealing at a glance.
avatar
CarrionCrow: No, haven't slept yet. In a weird way, I'm not surprised. As soon as I say that my sleep pattern's changing, it messes with me by going back to "normal".

Yes. It's done. Thank the gods. Every bandage, every warp zone, every A+, every glitch zone, every stinking level of Cotton Alley, it's all done.

It's not so much an anti-hug thing as it's a little to no human contact at all thing. -laughs-

And yes, I refer to D by that since it seems odd to call her DD. Anyone I've known with that name had it as solely a first name, not an abbreviated first and last.
(I tend to overthink things just a bit...)
avatar
LaPtiteBete: Hum... Sorry about your messy-again sleeping pattern... :-(
... and no withdrawal symptoms yet ? ;-p
Ho, cr*p... I shouldn't have shaken your hand, then ! :-O I'm sorry !!
And no problem, it's better to overthink than not to think at all, I ... think ;-)
-laughs- It's okay. Pretty sure a virtual handshake isn't going to be too detrimental.

I'd agree with you there, given how many people seem to think very little...

ddickinson: Hey now, my partner is really good. But I know what you are saying about me maybe not being objective about it :-). She has been playing since she was little, and has played semi-professionally in an orchestra during college, so I think I am safe to say she is good, even if I would be bias about that :-).

We got to listed to the song before we had to sing it, which was helpful. We listened to it on headphones a few times to get used to it and then we sang it on stage. The karaoke machine gives us two different lyrics (one for each of us) and help with the pace of the song. I sand the Meatloaf lyrics and my partner the Marion Raven lines.

Do you enjoy playing FTL, even if you do die a lot? I am sure the mitts and hat will turn out great. I hope you are knitting an owl hat? :-)
Heehee... that's why I said I was kidding, dear. ;-) Obviously she's more than good... semi-professionally in an orchestra... hats off !
A karaoke machine... Ô__ô ... [picturing a kind of horribly freaky torturing robot...]
Yes, I enjoy it... but it's quite repetitive... I think I could easily get bored, even if dying a lot. Dying a lot is not the main problem to me ; but I'm rather p*ssed off that we have to restart the game all over again if we die.
This lovely owl hat is in my library ;-) I thiink I'll make it for my owlet, for the neext winter... but now I'm planning to do a hat for a friend, and... I doubt he will be very happy to wear an owl hat ^^

One day I will find a way to change that from okay to great. :-)

Thank you. I think Owl has been talking to my partner, as Owl mentioned me going to a doctor, then I get a phone call shortly afterwards from my partner telling me she has booked a doctors appointment for later today for me to get it x-rayed and checked just to be sure. I am still sure it is nothing, but I guess it won't hurt to get it checked over.

How is the second part of your report coming along?

Well, it's kinda reassuring... :-| ...... in fact, no.

Good luck picking a game. I usually find it hard to pick a game to play. I have way to many on my shelf and that just seems to make it harder to choose a game.

*laughs* That is awesome. Good job owl and good job of your partner :P

The report is going slowly. Making nice graphs takes some time. And also I had another idea for something important to simulate so I'll do some additional ones and also include them :-)

It wouldn't surprise me if GOG was gearing up for when Pillars of Eternity is available for download.
Saw somewhere on the forum that it's 15 gigs, that's going to make for a LOT of day one traffic.

I know you were only kidding, my reply was meant to have a playful tone to it.

A karaoke machine is just a set of TV screens that display the lyrics as you sing. It makes it easy for songs you hardly know, and the two screens is great for duets, as each screen shows one persons lyrics. They slowly colour as the word is due to be sung. This helps with the tone and pacing of the song. Other than that it's just some microphones, sadly not a torturing robot. :-)

I think you might be coming down with a case of Crow's illness. It is already taking it's toll on Moon, and I fear it will slowly spread to us all. Soon we will just be sat here torturing ourselves with games. :-)

An Owl hat for your adorable Owlet sounds great, and I bet she will love it. I remember you saying you were knitting for a friend, but who wouldn't love a woolly Owl hat? :-)
