And now I'm wondering if there's such a thing as beard extensions.
I'd gone the entirety of my life without asking that question, until now.
Goodnight, sleep well when you get there. =)

ElTerprise: Ok. I just felt asleep in front of the monitor. I think i go to bed now.
Good Night everyone :).

Hello, Endre! I can go with "okay." I sent my husband away yesterday via Greyhound bus to spend a week with his family in the north of the state so that he can also look at property up there. I say "sent away," but... I really, really hate doing so. It's actually the first time I've put him on a bus without it being the end result of lengthy arguments, and I hate being home without him. So. Blech. Friday, I "get" to put the roommate that came with us from Montana on a bus to go back to Montana. (Depressing, but temporary; he wants to go back and work full-time, as work here as been sporadic at best, save money, and be away from the unnecessary drama of the other housemates.
Still trying to get rid of the fleas that our cats have somehow acquired, which is making me crazy. They're not all in the furniture (the cats are, unfortunately, confined to our bedroom due to idiot housemates), but one of the cats is allergic and so far, the surface treatment, combing, and baths have yet to work. (We've vacuumed, cleaned, done copious amounts of laundry, washed, and treated, until I want to scream.)
Other than those things... I'm pretty good. I've decided that today, aside from general bleh-ness, I will be playing some computer games and watching Sherlock* (again). Tomorrow will be more cleaning and actual work, as will Thursday. At least by then, my father-in-law will be home from his short trip to visit his daughter and see his grandson for the first time.
* And documentaries about, and possibly digging out the stories for the millionth time. Sherlock Holmes is one creation that I have been greatly attached to since the first time I discovered him in my grandparents' books, roundabout age 8 o 9. There is no such thing as too much Sherlock Holmes. XD

Compared to all of that my day was pretty boring. :-) Still trying to get rid of the fleas that our cats have somehow acquired, which is making me crazy. Glad to see you and I share your love for Mr Holmes.
I've been very lucky about fleas, I put drops and a collar on both the dog and the cat and haven't been bothered by them yet. (crossing fingers)

My love for Sherlock Holmes is accepted, if not fully understood, by my husband. *grins* I've been very lucky about fleas, I put drops and a collar on both the dog and the cat and haven't been bothered by them yet. (crossing fingers)
I'm not excited about putting flea collars on the cats, after reading far too much about the not-uncommon side effects they can cause in cats in particular (fur loss, sores, seizures, poisoning) and the fact that one of the cats is allergic to the flea bites to the point that she's covered in small scabs on her neck, which the collar would only make worse. I'm just about willing to go buy some if this latest treatment we're trying doesn't work, but I'm giving it a bit before we move on to that step.

Its dangerous how these things can pass by without ever being fully acknowledged. Beard extension, false heads, buttock replacements. There's a whole world of wonder out there, and its my opinion that the internet should force it at you all the time, whether you want to know about it or not. I mean, you've seen the benefits yourself, right?

I've used it in the past in the pets bedding, carpets and such to rid them of fleas. Diatomaceous Earth is another safe and effective treatment.

You got us worried, Endre, good to hear you're ok.
Sorry you're having such a hard time, penumbren, hope the rest of the week goes better.
And I think it's high time I called it a night too. See you all later.
