CarrionCrow: To me it's just a big pain in the ass and a reminder to pay closer attention to what I'm thinking of buying/renting before I actually do it.

Might say to hell with it, delete everything I'm not having fun with and play something enjoyable instead.

That happens sometimes...you stack up experiences, and when it's all done you can end up with a huge pile of things that were bad, but you slogged through them all anyway.

Stilton: In the past that's been as rewarding to me at times as sticking with a thing and slogging on to the bitter end for whatever elation I might feel. There's been a great sense of release from things I've felt have been almost torturing me ;-) Hell, I'm in control of this thing ;-)
Right now, I'm playing something that isn't unpleasant. I'll pick away at the ones that are until they're gone too, but I'm not locking myself into playing shit games to the exclusion of anything else.

ElTerprise: I'll try to do so as well when i've more time.

adaliabooks: There's no manual that I can see... so if I figure anything out I'll let you know :)
Just seems to be hide in cover, point and shoot so far. There are some extra abilities each character has, but I'm not sure whether it's an RPG or not and if they level up... :/
Thank you. AFAIK it's more of a TBS than a real RPG.

Stilton: Where are the ladies tonight? There's a locker room feel about things...
*peeks around corner*
Good evening, everyone!

I hope you are all doing well?

Has anyone seen Endre today? I hope he is doing okay?

I believe they call it a sausage fest. :-)

That seems to be the case so far. Defence seems to be the way to go so far, being aggressive hasn't been successful so far.

Hey dd. Not sure, I think he was here earlier... I can't quite remember, all the days seem to blur into one in the thread...

adaliabooks: Yeah... but I suppose if you don't notice the problems until the end it must be doing something right, to distract you from that fact...

Just started Halfway now, seems fun but I'd hoped for a bit more instruction... going to have to see if there is some kind of manual as I barely know what I'm doing... :/
Or those problems were things you wrote off as being annoying, but not enough to make you quit all together.

Not seeing a manual on the company's site, or any walkthroughs from places like GameFAQs.
Guess they figured whatever in-game tutorial they provide is sufficient.
I prefer the Infinity Engine days, when everything was explained fully and you got a manual large enough to bludgeon someone with. -laughs-

No manual with the game or in the extras anyway, which is a bit of an oversight I would say (although not uncommon these days)

I'm a bit in-between, I used to enjoy reading manuals but not so much now. I like a kind of quick start guide, just a simple here's what everything does and the basic concepts of the game.
These days I find myself going into the controls in options just to see what I can do in a game...

Hello. So far so good. Staying at GOG forums helped me getting away from the terrible news about the plane crash i heard all day - german news are full of it.

Hello, adalia!

How is your night?

I had a look and Endre has not been on today. The place doesn't seem the same without him here. But I feel that way when several others of the regulars are absent.
Hey everybody, da goils are here ;-) ;-)!!!!!

Hello, ladies. I thought it was a hen night, or something ;-)

Hello, Stilton.

No hen night, but we do have our own secret girls only thread, where we have sleepovers and pillow fights. :-)

Wondering how I can get into this pillow fighting thread of yours.....
