ElTerprise: Congrats. I'd like to go to concert more often but i had some bad luck with timing. And i'm still waiting for next concert ot "The Boss" in germany.
avatar
adaliabooks: I'd love to see Bruce Springsteen live (I presume he's "The Boss" in Germany too and that is who you mean?), he's played here a couple of times in the last few years and we've almost gone, but we've not had the time or the money unfortunately...
avatar
ddickinson: I do go to concerts and shows often, but not usually to see bands. I go for orchestral music, ballet, and plays mainly. There is not always a lot on offer near by, but I do go to London now and then to catch a few shows at the Glove Theatre and the Royal Opera house. I went last year to see a lovely ballet, and some other plays and things (the museums in London are awesome).
avatar
adaliabooks: I can't say I've ever been to anything orchestral, though I do like classical music. But when I go to a concert I like to sing loudly until my throat bleeds (well, you know what I mean) and I don't really think orchestral concerts are like that...
I'd love to see more plays, but there's not much on round here either. Once we're better off we'd love to travel down to London more regularly and see some stuff.
I thought that The Hoff was The Boss in Germany.

Exactly. I always thought "The Boss" is a universal nickname for Bruce Springsteen. I just have seen him live twice - The Rising Tour and Devil&Dust both times in Hamburg and it was both times fantastic. Unfortunately he missed out on my hometown is his last tours and i didn't have the time and money to travel to another city at that time.

Definitely not for me... :)

Oh because as an American I don't have to live with a million stupid cliches. :P As long as it's all in fun I don't have a problem with it.

Never seen him live myself, but it's definitely on the wish list.
I've seen the Foo Fighters 6 times though, which will be increasing to 8 this year... you could say we're fans :)

Oh don't worry, I also have no problem with it, that is why I was not sighing but putting in a dramatical sigh ;-)

Well I could, but since I wrote that the weather seems to be changing. English weather often does. One minute it will be nice and sunny, the next cloudy and raining. Hopefully the sun is on it's way to you for a while.

I played Hogs of War on the Playstation with my brothers, and I intend to play some with them again now that I own it on the PC. I really enjoyed it when I was younger. I hear that the AI for the single player is not as good on the PC version (the AI pigs don't move), but it's a fun and silly game, and has the voice of the late, great, Ric Mayall. Is it a game you were thinking about getting?
You could, but won't, I see. ;-P

It's been cloudy and raining since Sunday evening here, and according to the forecast, no signs of sun until Apr 1, which sounds more like an April Fool's joke.

Thanks for feedback on the game.

Yeah! So cute! *tries sending some sunshine your way as thank you* I am not sure it will work but I would not mind sharing the good weather here ;-)
Thank you for your offer and effort. I think you should stop though, it's getting dark here pretty soon so even if it worked, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. Perhaps try again tomorrow morning? ;-)

ElTerprise: Thanks. Yeah i heard about the crash when i returned home and it was pretty much a kick in guts. Not that i knew anyone one the plane (hopefully) i was really shocked hearing about it.

Additionally the unfortunate timing of the Airline Tycoon release on GOG.

Dang, I didn't make the connection; what an irony. :/

I thoroughly recommend it if you are a fan, they are fantastic live.

And since we're on the subject... <_< >_>
I took this picture, probably about 10 feet away from him, in a tiny club with about 300 people last year. Seriously the most awesome thing I've ever done (I'm a bit of a music nut...)

Hey now, I would gladly share if I could. But sadly my god power over the Sun is not working today, so you will just have to make do.

I am never to bothered about the weather, sun, cold, rain, snow, it's all pretty much the same to me. I enjoy all of them in their own way. But I am guessing you are a sunshine kind of guy, in which case I will keep my fingers crossed that you will be getting some nice warm and sunny days soon.

Hogs of War would make a very fun multiplayer for Galaxy. It's like a 3D version of Worms with a very nice World War One theme to it.
