Hope you're all doing well, and better than yesterday.

ElTerprise: A good night for you as well. I'll also wrap i up for the moment. Tomorrow will be tense.

Good Night everyone!

HypersomniacLive: I see you're online, ElTerprise. So, do tell, is it celebration time?
Oh hi totally forgot about it - was distracted because of the plane crash. The oral exam went really well!
There are some administration matters left but technically i'm finally done with everything i need for my bachelor's degree!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's a nice and sunny day here, which has made working outside quite lovely.

avatar
Soccorro: Awwww i hope she gets well soon! What does she have btw?
She has been very ill for some time (many years). At Christmas she became ill and nearly died and was in intensive care for a month or so. She luckily improved and is back home but she is still very weak from it all. Then unfortunately she had a nasty fall after hearing about her baby granddaughter dying and broke some bones. We had hoped they would heal with a cast, but no luck. Now she will be having surgery, but it's risky as her body is still quite weak from all the stuff at Christmas.

toxicTom: Hi all! *hugs and waves*

Been too busy trying to work to post anything earlier. Having a hard time today.

It is going quite well, especially now the weather is improving. I did nearly get knocked off the roof due to some ducks nearly flying into me, but other than that it's going quite well. I just got back from the hospital and am finishing some paperwork off before I finish for the day. Hopefully the sunny weather will be with us for a while and I will have the second greenhouse finished in a day or so.

How has your day been?

Thanks. And the second step starts soon - the master's programme. Two more years at maximum until i'm finally done with university.

And i'm sorry about your day not being that well :|.

avatar
adaliabooks: Congrats ElTerprise, glad the exam went well!
Thank you as well :).

Hey all!

Sorry your days not been going well Tom :(

Congrats ElTerprise, glad the exam went well!

Our tickets arrived today to see the Foo Fighters in Wembley in June. Really excited!
Anyone else go to concerts much? Got anything lined up this year?

I see my wish didn't work. Sorry to hear you're having a hard time; would it help if I threatened you?

Yeah, congrats!

But yes, the crash news is very shocking and sad.

Hello, Hyper! *big silly friendly wave*

How are you today my lovely friend?
I'd be much better if you sent some of that nice and sunny weather of yours south; I'm getting really fed up with the persisting rain and chill.

I noticed that you have Hogs of War on your shelf. Have you played it?

I do go to concerts and shows often, but not usually to see bands. I go for orchestral music, ballet, and plays mainly. There is not always a lot on offer near by, but I do go to London now and then to catch a few shows at the Glove Theatre and the Royal Opera house. I went last year to see a lovely ballet, and some other plays and things (the museums in London are awesome).

Well I could, but since I wrote that the weather seems to be changing. English weather often does. One minute it will be nice and sunny, the next cloudy and raining. Hopefully the sun is on it's way to you for a while.

I played Hogs of War on the Playstation with my brothers, and I intend to play some with them again now that I own it on the PC. I really enjoyed it when I was younger. I hear that the AI for the single player is not as good on the PC version (the AI pigs don't move), but it's a fun and silly game, and has the voice of the late, great, Ric Mayall. Is it a game you were thinking about getting?

*welcome wave* Sounds great. I sometimes went to concerts during my time at university with a friend, but now we are living not near each other anymore and she is quite busy so I haven't been to any concerts in the last years.

Yeah! So cute! *tries sending some sunshine your way as thank you* I am not sure it will work but I would not mind sharing the good weather here ;-)

Thanks. Yeah i heard about the crash when i returned home and it was pretty much a kick in guts. Not that i knew anyone one the plane (hopefully) i was really shocked hearing about it.

Additionally the unfortunate timing of the Airline Tycoon release on GOG.

I'd love to see Bruce Springsteen live (I presume he's "The Boss" in Germany too and that is who you mean?), he's played here a couple of times in the last few years and we've almost gone, but we've not had the time or the money unfortunately...

I can't say I've ever been to anything orchestral, though I do like classical music. But when I go to a concert I like to sing loudly until my throat bleeds (well, you know what I mean) and I don't really think orchestral concerts are like that...
I'd love to see more plays, but there's not much on round here either. Once we're better off we'd love to travel down to London more regularly and see some stuff.
