zenwan: Good morning, moonshineshadow, how are things in Switzerland? I am looking for an extra special mountain for you. :-)
moonshineshadow: Good morning :-) *wave* or would you prefer *hugs*? :D I could offer a zenhug in return. :-)
Bom dia, l0rdtr3k. Hope you slept well.
zenwan: I'm taking a break from 'replying', it just gets me into big trouble with editing when the posts are long. My ADD-limited attention span can't cope, so I open a few more tabs on Firefox instead and quite forget that I was supposed to be writing a post, or - worse - editing one.
So - goodevening gunsynd, how is Oz these days? Any fresh dangerous bugs discovered yet? ;-)
Hope you enjoy your game, Socorro, I haven't played it.
Hi to you, Adaliabooks, has your UK weather warmed up yet?
Crow, thanks for the mention of Tales of Maj’Eyal - I checked it out and was stunned at how cheap it is, so without even going via my Wishlist, I threw it in my cart. Funny word, that, I keep looking for a horse...
Who knows when I'll ever have time to actually play the game - judging by what you said about its length, I could be dead by the time I get around to it, never mind download it.
But the fun is in the acquiring, right, not the playing? <big grin>
Hi to everyone who may have appeared while I got around to posting this. :-)
CarrionCrow: Editing is a serious pain, to be sure. I have the Barefoot Essentials script that makes it a lot easier to do, and I still screw it up a lot of the time. So - goodevening gunsynd, how is Oz these days? Any fresh dangerous bugs discovered yet? ;-)
Hope you enjoy your game, Socorro, I haven't played it.

Hi to everyone who may have appeared while I got around to posting this. :-)
Not a problem, Tales looks like a really big RPG with a lot to do, so it's definitely worth a mention.
It being pretty cheap at retail price and crazily cheap during the sale right now makes it even more appealing for anyone who likes such games.
Also, I'm now thinking of merchants with horse-pulled carts. That must've been an incredibly crappy way to make a living.
If it's any consolation, you're far from the only person with a serious backlog. If yours can be cleared in a year or less, you're doing a LOT better than some of us. -laughs-
Acquisition is good to a point, until something in the person's head finally says, "Okay, this is getting out of hand, you need to wrap this up already and actually switch over to playing before you're just a digital hoarder."
adaliabooks: Thanks :)
I hope you do at least enjoy it now... XD
Not yet, still got a boss and a temple to finish off in LoX and then whatever the endgame entails. Hopefully get it done tonight, or this week anyway and then make a start on Halfway. Although all this talk of roguelikes makes me want to play ToME XD
CarrionCrow: They had me at the combo of a serious job system and an interesting looking mechanic in choosing how aggressively you want to fight. I hope you do at least enjoy it now... XD

I've done JRPG's before, I'm not expecting the second coming of Final Fantasy 6.
Dear gods, that would be amazing if Square came out and said that all the super-pretty, ultra anime-style crap in their FF15 cutscenes was a massive goof, and they're actually doing 15 like a Super Nintendo game.
Any part of the net with an interest in games would absolutely lose its mind.
Good luck to you with finishing that one off. It was slogtastic enough to drive me away, but I'll still be clearing it, probably when I can get my hands on a GOG copy.
For now, I have the consolation prizes of Dark Souls, Legend of Grimrock, Paper Sorcerer, DOW 2 Retribution, Nihilumbra's ridiculously difficult hard more, a replay of Escape Goat 1, Wasteland 1 and a final triple run of Borderlands 2 to keep me busy.
Also need to finally drive a stake through the heart of the pain in my ass known as Super Meat Boy...
Seriously, audibly groaning as I type that.
There were people in Ireland who followed the horsedrawn carts and picked up the horse dung, to sell. Now that is a seriously crappy way to make a living. ;-) I long ago saw a movie starring Gene Wilder, who I love, and that is how I know. Not sure how I tracked the movie down, but I rented it somewhere - called 'Quackser Fortune has a cousin in the Bronx'.
Great stuff if you like Wilder.
Guess I'd better be off, work calls. Perhaps I'll heed your advice and try playing a game later today.
Sleep well, when you sleep

zenwan: Either or both are welcome, thank you.

Thanks for the info re Barefoot, I tracked it down and will try to figure out how it works.

Okay, can't get the editing to work, so let's simplify.
The script is a pain at first, but it can be useful later on. Have a good day, Zenwan. Talk with you later on. =)
Good morning to Moonshine, Owl Lady, and Amorphous Blob Person. Hopefully you're all doing well. =)
(Sorry to squeeze everything together, but my editing skills are going from crap to almost nonexistent. This makes catch-up a bit easier.)

*extra big hug* So how are you besides from being harassed by the forum functions? ;-) I have to admit that I am staying away from croissants for the moment. I always loved them, but when I moved to the French part of Switzerland where lots of really good Croissants are available I overdid it a bit with buying them, so I need a break :D
I slept quite well, a bit too short ;-)

Not doing too badly here. Thinking I'll be sleeping soon, so maybe my pattern is finally trying to get me back to being awake in the morning and asleep at night. (After months...)Well, I don't have any croissants, unfortunately... just some m&m's... :-\

And yeah, the forum seems even more temperamental/obnoxious about editing stuff right now, at least for me.
Half the time it wants to hang when I try posting, so I have to copy what I just typed and retry the edit.

Yes, it wouldn't be a bad thing :-) What time is it at your place ? 2:30 am ?

*Big return hug* I am doing well, thank you, just getting some things done before going to the hospital. I am glad to hear you are doing okay. Anything we can do to change that okay to great? Maybe we could all do a silly dance for you to make your day great? :-)
