And your real name is a palindrome! I like palindromes. I got all excited when it was 2002 (the year my daughter was born - I got all excited about that, too).

Some of the things people can make out of a continuous length of yarn are incredible. My better half works for a knitting magazine and some of the garments she brings home from work are amazing. Real art made by people I have serious respect for. And its a pleasantly natural/traditional creative form, too. All around good in my book ;-)

Haha yes, my father insisted on my name being a palindrome. I like it, because I'm a language nerd. :) And yes, I like dates like those too! There's something very pleasing about symmetry.

I agree! I have seen some truly amazing things, and I'm awed every time. I used to think I had no talent for any of those things, but luckily a friend of mine showed me that it's always possible to learn, and I really enjoy the occasional bit of embroidery now. I haven't branched out to knitting and crocheting yet, though. :P

It’s a good day, I was looking forward to seeing my doctor, but she had to reschedule, (nothing to worry about, just routine maintenance), I do have health issues but I’m keeping ahead of them, and that too is going well. So my plan for this morning had to change, and I get to eat before noon. heh

I’ve never played the MP in either Borderlands 1 or 2. I knew people modded the first game, but didn’t know they’ve been fiddling with B2. bleh. Well, anytime you want to have an MP to run amuck with in B2, let me know, as I have a few different characters in play. Soldier, Siren and Assassin, but only have one (the soldier) that I started the second playthrough with, probably around level 45 to 50. :)

I've decided 2 things about re-downloading my games library.
1.) It's almost impossible to do all at once.
2.) I own an absolutely insane number of games. :-)
I still have 15 to go before the "D"s are done. :-O

Stilton: Okay, for those who are interested - Owl, Moon, Hyper - I do hang around on crochet websites.

There, the truth is out.

And if you want to know why, it all started a couple of years ago when we had some seriously high winds up here in The Blustery North. I was out one evening chopping wood and, to cut a long story short, a particularly strong gust came out of nowhere and blew my beard off. As there was the annual (and very important) Viking Festival of the Long Beards the next day I had no choice but to ask my Shieldmaiden to knit me one. She laughed and told me to do it myself (she loves me really) and so I had to get some quick pointers and turned to Google for help. There were luckily a lot of sites to choose from and by three the next morning I had created a beard that I was pretty proud of (check avatar). The festival was a success and my secret was secure! But by then I'd been bitten by the yarn bug and, well, now I just can't stop.

Its a sordid tale, I know, but I feel secure enough to share it with you. I hope you'll understand...

Well, I was getting coffee, but a roommate asked if I could give them a hand running errands, so I ended up doing that.

Nah, it's possible. It might kick the crap out of your internet and soak up every drop of bandwidth you have for a week or two, but it's possible.

You don't have that many. Even with unbundling you're under 500. -laughs-

Yeah, you do have a lot of D's, looking at it. But at least none of them are really large files, if I'm remembering correctly.
Also, once you're done with all 34 D's, you only have 12 E's to do. That's like a walk in the park. ;)

Was going to suggest going to Z and working backwards for a bit, but between Witcher 2 and Wasteland 2, you could kiss your progress goodbye for a long while if your speed's not great.

Righto! You'll probably want to do a little at a time, working through the alphabet
should help you to keep track of where you leave off, when you take breaks from it.

I have about 50 dvds full of downloads and mod-work I've done just for Battlefield 2,
that I'll need to archive eventually onto an external Hardrive. And dozens of more discs
of mods patches and utilities for other games I've downloaded over the years.

Right now, a little over half my games from GoG are on an external HD, the rest is
early versions of installers burned to discs as well, except for the last two new games
I just have, F.E.A.R. 2 and Rise of theTriad 2013.

Some of the new downloads are 3 or 4 gigs, instead of the 1.5 to 2 gigs files,
which makes it harder to put onto flash drives for easy installs.

The 5 Draculas are over 16GB total since they split them up. I think after D is a good place for a break. :-)
