Good morning, afternoon and evening everyone. :)

Well, I had a doctor appointment today, but she rescheduled so now the morning is mine,
(Just routine maintenance, no health emergency.)

I'm sure I'll be able to find something to do to keep me occupied in the meantime.

Hope everyone is happy and well, doing better than expected, and got some restful sleep!

*welcome wave* Good to hear that it is nothing serious. So will you use the free time for gaming or writing?

You got me a bit worried for a moment there, good to hear it's just routine check-up.

I think it's been a while since you ruffled anyone's hair... or feathers. ;-)

Games! I've been playing a bit of Infested Planet.
It is a really good game. Plus I'm trying to level up to 69 with at least one character in Borderlands
at the moment.

Plus a few other games I'm in the middle of or starting to explore a bit,, but those two are at the top
of the list of games to get through for now. ;)

I would do the hugs but it is a little difficult without a body...

It isn't easy being a Ghost. :P

*ghost hug* What is the problem, seems quite easy to me :P

Stilton: In ages past we had a lot of trouble with wild beasts attacking our villages and stealing our food at night. Wolves, boar, even woolly mammoths. By far the worst of these was the mythical Woolly Viking, a former king who had been banished for turning against his people centuries before and making a pact with the Dark Lords. No one ever saw him but his presence was always felt in the deep of night when the wind took on a life of its own and could even steal the breath from your body if you weren't wary. I say that no one ever saw the Woolly Viking, but there once was someone who saw him and lived to tell the tale. That someone was my grandfather. He even took a picture to prove it was true....
Ohhhhh this is so cute !!!! I want to do it for my owlet !!! :-O ♥
avatar
moonshineshadow: Perhaps instead of poems and stuff like that you could tell us some historical fact / event. That would sure be interesting *hug*
(not that I do not like the poems, but historic things would be even better)
avatar
ddickinson: Good idea. The main problem with that is I tend to ramble on once I get started with historical topics. I would end up filling the screen with walls of text :-). But it does sound like a good idea, so I will try to mix in some historical facts as well as poems, but I will keep them short (so I don't ramble on and bore people). :-)
I love this idea... let's say, poems and litterary quotes on odd days, and historical facts on even days ^^

avatar
ddickinson: That looks more sleepy than unimpressed. It looks like it has been awake all night and is struggling to keep it's eyes open. :-)
I blame decaffeinated coffee for it !!! ):-\

I think the pattern is available free from here:

I'd like you to know that I don't normally hang around on crochet websites.... -laughs-

You know that saying this makes it even more believable that you hang around such websites? :P

A good idea... But what about the days that are never odd or even ? Palindromes on those days ? ;-)

I know only too well how it's like to not have a body. ;-)

So, I was wondering, how do you do the ruffling - or is it a ghost secret?

I was about to ask how you know this much about crochet and patterns. One might wonder who your role model really was when you were a child... ;-D
