How are you all today? I hope you have had an enjoyable weekend so far?

It's actually a very simple hack, and can be done even in the console versions, which allow you to store your save files to external data devices. So you save your game to a USB stick. then put it in the computer, read it with a special program and modify the values for the stats.

Best/worst part is that even though it is obvious as hell, they can't touch you, since you have not tampered any internal files or changed the game's mechanics.

My advice is. Choose what kind of character you're going to be. heavy hitting ponderous tank or agile quick hitting speedster. Then concentrate on that choice to the exclusion of everything else.

You may have noticed that I have not mentioned magic users as a viable third choice. That is because THIS IS DARK SOULS BITCH! And every wizard knows that at some point, they will inevitably be tangoing very closely with an angry bugbear trying to eat their face off. Which is when the wands go out the window and you pull out the double headed axes.

Is it? I've just checked and other than the formatting being screwy because I'm on my phone it seems fine...

But yeah, only 53 on there at the moment. There are others that I could probably add, and things I would like that aren't on GoG at all (but probably won't get unless they come here) but those are the main ones I'm interested in right now.
Add Nintendo stuff in and it gets bigger as there's quite a backlog of stuff I want but haven't been able to afford for 3DS and Wii U.

I had a great Saturday night and a great day today. I had a real nice time playing Outlast until the early hours of the morning (nice and scary :-)), then me and my partner did some other things before going to bed at about 3am. And for once I not only slept, but I slept for about 7 hours, not waking up until mid morning. Then I just had a lazy morning in bed with my partner, and then a nice walk and a picnic in the afternoon, as it was a nice sunny day today. Then we finished the day with some old black and white movies. So quite a nice weekend, and hopefully the long sleep will help restart my internal clock and my sleep will get back to normal.

Being a history buff, have you been following all the Richard III stuff? Watched a quite interesting program about how they found his body the other night. Pretty fascinating how they work everything out and find out it was actually him.

Actually I can envision a future in which Microsoft has gone the way of the Dodo, specially since they have failed to make any sizeable dent in the phone and tablet market, the latter devices continue to eat up the share of PCs that were bought by people who only check their email and android netbooks are becoming a real thing.

Add to that their infamous lack of flexibility, which is what's saved Apple and you can hear tolling bells already.

*even more hugs* My day was ok, played a bit Anvil of Dawn with lots of breaks in between :P

I am good thank you (see my note to Crow above, which is a lazy note about my post to Moon :-)).

I have followed a bit of the Richard III subject, but a bit too political and drama involved. I do not like that they are refusing to bury him in York as he wished for, but that's modern petty greed for you from the University that found him.

I am glad your day was okay. Why lots of breaks in between playing Anvil of Dawn?

Oh, and killing spiders that dared to crawl accross my keyboard.

Oh I already complained a lot about that here this afternoon :D The stupid devs did not implement any rest function in the game. So there is no choice to save and reload often to try minimizing the damage you take. And you often need breaks to regenerate, since health and mana reg is very slow.

That doesn't surprise me, Dark Souls looks heavily melee-oriented, so unless you're somehow able to shoot everything before it closes, you're going to get slaughtered. And since you're a wizard, odds are you haven't invested a lot in stamina, vitality, strength, dexterity, or anything else you might need to keep from being gutted.

You can say that again.. I didn't realise the whole thing was driven by some nutjobs who wanted to portray him as a kind and goodly king (which fair enough might have been the case, it's hard to know). The woman who ran the dig seemed more like some kind of weird groupie than a historian...
But the fact they were able to find and identify him is pretty cool.
