moonshineshadow: Buuuuh ;-)
But it is still a cool project even if you can't show screens :P
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)

Yay for my frigging internet finally working properly again, after hours of it being a pile of crap.

Hopefully everyone's doing better than that at the very least.

My internet is fine, this forum not so much. Lots of teddy bears today. :-)
Are you up already, or still up?

Good morning to you and good day, and evening to everyone too. :)

It is an uneventful, yet restful day here. A nice, quiet Sunday, cloudy an cool outside.

Though I think it's past time for me to service my PC, looks like a whole herd of dust bunnies
have been collecting over the last year and a half. heh! I usually clean it up once a year, but
have been neglecting it.

After the net went to crap, I ended up trying to watch TV to doze off. For once, that didn't work though, so I've been up all night waiting for it to come back on.

How are you doing today aside from Atlas bear attacks?

Having a quiet day here, downloading a ton of files. You were right, this will take more than the week I planned on.
If I do have a bandwidth cap I'm sure to find out. :-)

I'd be happier being wrong so it doesn't take you weeks.
Looks like your winners in the "dear gods, is it done yet!?!?!" contest will be Tesla Effect, Witcher 2 and Wasteland 2.
Thankfully, nothing else comes close to those that I've seen.

I was lazy about cleaning mine out. Huge mistake with the dust that ends up in everything around here. Going to need to buy a miniature vacuum cleaner since I spent 2 hours cleaning it last time and I still couldn't get everything out.

I've got 85GB down starting yesterday so I should get done in the foreseeable future.

Find someone with an air compressor and 'gently' use that. Watch the fans, don't 'over-rev' them.
A vacuum does a piss poor job on the fans, power supply and heat sinks and can create a LOT of static, which is a very bad thing.

Edit: I own a baby air compressor that cost about $35.00 at Harbor Freight, handy for 1000 things.

Well, mine's at 814 gigs, but I've got more stuff piled up than you do. Estimate yours at maybe 5 to 6 hundred?
Hard to tell without checking it all by hand.

Good to know, thank you. There's an air compressor here, but it's pretty large. Would have to be extremely careful to keep from breaking something using it.

But, since you've very kindly mentioned both the item and the place to get it, I can skip both the vacuum static discharge nightmare and the air compressor breakage issue. =)

Just found one through their website for ten dollars. A lot of people are complaining back and forth about whether it's great for filling tires, but there's one outside for such things. Guess I know what I'll be buying soon.

A big compressor is fine as long as you set the pressure to about 20psi and be careful. I've used huge ones, just have to stick your finger or a Q-tip or something in the fan blades while you blow them out.

Pointblank honesty time - While it's apparent that you have aptitude with things tool-related and manual dexterity outside of a keyboard, I totally do not. I would end up breaking crap trying to use a full-sized compressor on my computer, and then I would freak the hell out since it took months and months to have the money to buy this one.

Given all that? I think I'll get a tiny one from Harbor Freight like you suggested. -laughs-

If it's one of those dinky ones for cars it won't do much.
I'll look up the one I have and see how pricey it's gotten.

Like this $50.00 with coupon.
I bought mine years ago so it's gone up a bit.
Once you have it you'll use it way more often so to me it's worth the money.

Haha welp it's good morning now! I hope everyone is doing okay, I feel like this weekend's been wasted on me. Oh well, time to brace myself for another week!
I have the feeling that these developers wanted to take the player to take breaks... as if I could not decide on my own how long to play...

But something different: *welcome hugs for Crow and Endre*
I also get many visits of the gogbear today. I hope this will get better soon, it is annoying of almost every second time trying to open something it shows me the gogbear.
I'm bored. Is this better than a internet fight?
