You see, there is no reason to wonder about what gog is doing. Since this whole mess makes no sense. For example Heroes 5. They unbundled the second expension but not the first one and stuff like this. And it seems like the size of files makes no difference at all.

I think Blitzkrieg has standalone expansions, while F.E.A.R.'s expansions require the base game.

I noticed the whole file size thing as well. I also like how originally they said it was nothing to do with Galaxy, then they said it was. Luckily I had my games downloaded before this unbundling, so I have them in one file, not several that are strangely sized.

I am pretty sure that at least one of the expansions were stand-alone, but I can't be sure, so maybe you are right. But as Moon said, there seems to be discrepancies with what games are and are not going to be unbundled. So much for Galaxy not effecting those of us who don't want it. :-)

Thanks for that link. All of mine have been unbundled according to the full list of games. (Disciples II was the last one I didn't notice).

Well, that's progress... GoG is the only place I'm buying games now. I'm not even going to buy physical copies, unless I know for sure that they are DRM-free. Although I'm starting save up now for anything I don't have yet from the catalog I want to get until the next big sale.

I'm so focused on my writing now that I am not even playing games, let alone buying them. heh!
it's time to get this project finished!

Much of the development work and notes to myself were written ten years ago, when my eyes were
in much better shape... I used to write very small notes on margins and on the concept artwork
(in engineering style print, thankfully). And there are thousands of notes to review, and lots of work yet to do. :D
